Strong words but is is how I feel at this point in time. All of them make me feel physically sick. The latest example -

I mean yeah..non citizens and immigrants to the nation are expected to contribute overall. Once you naturalise as a UK citizen only then should things change.

That’s what happens now. There are contribution based benefits which are not usually means tested, and means tested ones like UC designed to provide support even if you haven’t contributed. A system wholly based on contributions wouldn’t work because not everyone is able to do so, and there would be no safety net.

This would end good small businesses. I would not do everything I’ve done and make the sacrifices I have made if my business liabilities became personal - it’s too much risk.

And it wouldn’t generate anything because people would either not set up a business or simply say they don’t have enough money to pay.

When will people understand that you can’t keep going after small business owners, there won’t be any left to tax!

Considering right wing thinkers/voters spend the majority of their time attacking the most vulnerable in society, I don’t think there’s any room for criticism here. Imagine having a disability through no fault of your own or finding yourself having to flee your country and having thousands of people like the OP pointing the finger at you - making out that you’re the problem with the country and encouraging measures to remove your income and make your life even more difficult.
