I can't link Dawn French's latest rant, about Trump, but, if anyone else has seen it, do you find it funny. Or just feel very sorry for her?

Yes, the woke/cancel/Trump bashing thing is so last decade, that world is over, people are no longer laughing at him because his actions are gradually pushing their bills up, we need grown up sensible political debate, not this kind of unfunny nonsense, how can you still not be funny after a 50 year career in comedy?

Though I went off DF after her anti-Semitic attack on Israel. Apparently a sadistic attack on babies, children, women, men including torture, rape, murder and hostage taking is a mere ' bad thing' that can be dismissed as unimportant. That wasn't funny either. I've already explained my position more clearly further on. I'm not laughing because I don't find it funny but equally, I don't care that someone who mocked a reporter on TV for having cerebal palsy by doing a pretty nasty impression of him, is being mocked by an unfunny comedian for shitting his pants. I am not rushing to the defence of a vile and hate filled bully. He's getting back what he dishes out. Meh.

Nobody is asking you to defend a bully. You are being asked to accept that one criticism of him, incontinence, is not an issue that should be being mocked.

She still seems to need the media attention, that is the sad bit, her brand of comedy should have been wrapped up and put away in the 1990"s, by all means do a tour or TV show here and there if you can for the fan base but mainstream doesn"t care about you any more, just accept it and do something more meaningful.

If Trump feels the slightest modicum of the humiliation he has so regularly handed out to others, good. It won't change him but I hope it rocks, even for a second, his sense of superiority. I wouldn't do it myself because I am better person that Trump or Dawn French but I don't care when a bully gets a taste of their own medicine.

She has half a million followers on X alone. Clearly, some people still care what she has to say whether they like her or loathe her. I don’t mind DF usually but one of my biggest pet peeves is adults talking like toddlers so I only managed about 10 seconds of her video before I shuddered and made it go away. She can crack on saying what she likes on her socials (within reason) and people who aren’t interested in giving her attention can scroll on.

When someone says things like below as Trump has done, they lose the right to be given consideration for their feelings. Ordinary people with illnesses are smart enough to know it's not about them.
