Now it is a drama about how the Israeli security services deal with the conflict but it is apparently pretty accurate and is amazingly well produced and acted.

Season 5, which covers Oct 7th has just come out after a long delay.

I've had to take a break after episode 7 because it's so distressing but it still doesn't even come close to what happened that day.

I think it's gives a clearer idea as to the truth of what has been going on and it does try to give a perspective from both sides.

I think every pro-Palestinian should watch it.

No-one on this thread has expressed anything but horror at the massacre on October 7th. No-one has denied the murders, rapes, deliberate humiliation and dehumanising treatment of hundreds of Israelis by Palestinians on that day.

But what is very clear is that there are several people on this thread, including you, who are denying or excusing or downplaying or justifying the scale of killings in the tens of thousands, the murders, rapes, deliberate humiliation and dehumanising treatment of Palestinians by Israelis.

Also, when a section of a city becomes a battlefield both sides can use civilian buildings while fighting. Once one side wins and pushes the other out, it is forbidden by international law for the occupier to then destroy civilian infrastructure. It is meant to be preserved.

And the IDF lodge themselves in civilian infrastructure too. The Kirya, IDF HQ seen blurred in the map here is in downtown Tel Aviv surrounded by civilian infrastructure. Which is why Iranian weapons fell in the city centre.

Dutch lawyer Harun Reda filed a complaint to the ICC against 1,000 Israeli soldiers accusing them of war crimes in Gaza. His "case" got basically laughed out of court. In fact every single one of the court cases has failed so far. Lack of evidence or just... not credible.
