Now it is a drama about how the Israeli security services deal with the conflict but it is apparently pretty accurate and is amazingly well produced and acted.

Season 5, which covers Oct 7th has just come out after a long delay.

I've had to take a break after episode 7 because it's so distressing but it still doesn't even come close to what happened that day.

I think it's gives a clearer idea as to the truth of what has been going on and it does try to give a perspective from both sides.

I think every pro-Palestinian should watch it.

Isn't everyone "pro-Palestinian"? Given that they're just people, mostly trying to live their lives? The same as regular Israeli civilians who are getting caught in the crossfire.

I'm certainly anti-Hamas and acts of terror. And I'm also firmly agaist Israeli government corruption, their use disproportionate force, harming civilians and committing war crimes.

It's not a football match, there aren't any sides. You're either against violence against innocent people full stop, or you're in favour of it by supporting the Israeli government or Hamas.

Would be interested in thoughts on this, have not seen it as yet.

Exactly! They are all to blame, but some are committing genocide, some are not. Some are blowing up countries cause they want the land, some are not. Some just want to ne allowed to live in the land they had been in before Britian meddled.
Some have been trying to drag USA into a war for decades, some have not.
Some said for decades that others will have nukes in a few years (whilst having and not being in the NPT) and others have to keep showing that they don't and be sanctioned because of it.

They are all playing each other. All these extremist factions, and dragging innocent civilians into it.
Pretty sure if we ven diagram them all, there will be a few select political and religious rulers right in the middle.

It's not all fictional. There's video interviews with Israeli soldiers who openly say how they want to go into Gaza and kill everyone.

Im not just referring to the movie. Soldiers have given interviews to other news channels where they say pretty much the same thing. It's quite damning really but as a staunch defender of the IDF, I can see why you are having difficulty coming to terms with it.

The Palestinian Health Ministry says 70 people were killed at the scene, and Hamas blamed Israel for the attack. The IDF has told the BBC it had no involvement in the incident.

This is essentially saying that soldiers, or indeed anyone without legal training, should not speak out about human rights abuses or was crimes committed by an army. Do you agree with this @FuadaFan ?

Yet the death rate is 83% civilians according to Israel’s own figures. Did you read the IDF statement you posted OP? Did you have even the slightest consideration of its credibility before you posted it? Do you assume the IDF never lie when there is so much evidence to the contrary?
