To dislike the vitriol on here about their return

Just read through two different threads about their return to this country and I could feel my energy draining the more I read the comments.
There is so much vitriol and lots of snidy remarks in the comments.
Why not just leave them be, let them get on with their lives and wish them well?

Agree with you, OP. Of course, the usual advice of not reading through the thread applies, but there really does seem to be immense bad feeling against Harry and Meghan.

Because if that's not how someone feels it isn't going to be what they express is it? Not rocket science. It's in the news and people feel as they feel. As always, opinions you don't agree with aren't invalid, each to their own.

I can't imagine having such strong feelings about 2 people I don't know. It's very weird. Maybe people focus on this stuff as a way of avoiding their own short comings or something, who knows 🤷

They are setting up their own court. They are bound to be a distraction to the Royal Family. There was a reason why the Duke of Windsor lived quietly in France after abdication. Lots of posters on here claim to be republicans but then get excited when there was the suggestion that if Trump annexed Canada, Harry and Meghan could be King and Queen of Canada.
California hasn’t worked out for them. America hasn’t offered them the role of King and Queen of America. Harry certainly still wants to be part of the Royal Family. He misses the lifestyle. They won’t live quietly. There will be a Daily Mail story about them everyday .

I mean they have stirred up an awful lot of trouble for this country, or at least the establishment in this country. It is baffling why they now want to return to a place that has apparently treated them so awfully.

I hope Harry, Meghan and their children will be very happy living in the UK.

I wouldn't have anything negative to say about it if the RF or us taxpayers were providing accommodation for them, but they/we are not so it does not affect me in any way.

To be fair though the OP hadn’t named anyone. There’s a chance that she could be talking about Ellie Goulding or Gillian Anderson

I assume you are referring to H&M. I haven't actually engaged with the other threads on here as I simply don't care. You can just do the same and not click on and read the threads which of course are going to have lots of negative opinions as they are very polarizing.

Public scrutiny comes hand in hand with public life. And whilst they were always going to receive this based on their status, they also did invite this attention and scrutiny with their Oprah interview TV series. We can't police peoples opinions, if you dislike then don't read those threads.

Yep, it’s truly extraordinary how so many people who have never met them or interacted with them can have this much hate. It just shows how the press are able to manipulate so many people.

OP I wouldn’t worry about the comments. I am sure Harry and Megan don’t care about the opinions of these people. A lot of people take delight in speculating and writing rubbish about people they don’t know as if they themselves are so perfect.
