AIBU to feel awkward about my cleaner's very revealing work outfit?

My cleaner wears what i'd describe as an extremely skimpy gym outfit. I'm not sure of the exact name of clothes like this but hopefully you can imagine what I mean. It leaves basically nothing to the imagination - basically painted on fabric, and not much of it.

I get it (especially in these temperatures) - sweaty manual work, wear what your comfortable in, it's current fashion for people in their early 20s, want to show off body, whatever.

But I can't help but feel its a little inappropriate and awkward, especially when husband and other males are around in the house.
I don't want to make it a thing but AIBU? Would you say anything?

Is it equally awkward when your dh is at the gym and this type of clothing is being worn?

My disabled sons carer came to work in her bikini top. It's the total lack of judgement that she thought that was appropriate.

She had also asked some weird things about my then 17 year old son. At the end of the day she was 18, young and Possibly lacking life experience but my gut was saying it was for my sons gaze and besides I didn't want my 12 year son being watched by a woman in bikini top so that's all I needed to know. I was her employer.

Some people are fine with this, some aren't. Some think it's body positive and some think it's probably not OK ( in my case) a adult was showing too much interest in my minor while wearing a bikini top. Ds said she made him feel uncomfortable. Like I guess dd might feel if a male carer came in topless. Call me a prude but my gut gave me grooming vibes. Possibly fine if your all adults. Not for me around my vulnerable kids and if no ill intentions, massive lack of judgement. Not really sure what my point is but it's truly a skimpy Nike pro shorts with bum cheeks hanging out and crop top with boob's falling out it's not very professional. But there's no dress code for in your house. I shouldn't have needed to say "please don't come in your bikini top" any more than say to make carer "please put a top on".

Hey come in your pants with your ball sack hanging out. It's hot after all and my 17 year old is fine with it.

I don't know, nether of us have been to a gym in maybe 8yrs.

Come on, a bikini top is inappropriate to go to work in obviously. Gym gear, probably not inappropriate.

It reminds me of Margaret Meldrew (One Foot In the Grave) disapproving of their cleaner wearing a bikini top!

It's the poor men I feel sorry for. Having to tolerate women wearing what they want whilst they clean their bog for them.

Women have had to put up with builders with their shirts off for decades.

Maybe your husband should keep his eyes off her then, don't blame women for men's behaviour - yabu op especially if you say anything to her - its hot. She should wear whatever feels comfortable

The work is cleaning someone's home in hot weather. I think gym clothes are work appropriate in this case.

If you are worried about your husband assaulting her you have bigger problems. I would tell your husband not to ogle and say nothing to the cleaner

Not your cleaners fault if your DH has a wandering eye. Doubt she would be interested in him anyway, so you've got nothing to worry about.
