Its the beginning of the summer holidays, i'm already tired and HOT 😫

I can't wait for November!

(Obviously I mean ‘these days’ as in ‘recent years’ rather than ‘during this hot summer’ 😂)

I’m not too keen on winter but I also don’t enjoy summer especially with these dreadful heatwaves.

What I’m really looking forward to is September and October, I’d happily reside in those two months for eternity.

I love winter but we very rarely get those sorts of frosty mornings these days. Twenty years ago, used to get loads of them most winters. Don't think we had one last winter.

Yesss although I have always loved winter and hated summer. I loved going out early as we love in the countryside last year and seeing the frost on the fields and trees.

I don't want the horrible miserable cold weather! I bloody hate winter, hardly any daylight, constantly freezing cold, and fucking 'crisp' days!

I love autumn the most, the smell of garden bonfires, blackberries and crispy frosty mornings. But I must say that I think I've finally acclimatised to this weather and am now enjoying it. We've been able to leave the garden furniture cushions out for weeks which is unheard of, though our poor lawn is scorched beyond all hope.

I think i peaked to early with the beach as dd is very uninterested when we go, and i'm just counting down the time til I have to drive home

Ran out of things to do already, dd will be having unlimited trips to the swimming pool, the park and to smyths to buy a toy 😳😬

I’m with @PrettyLittleRose i would much rather have summer every day, especially the 32 degree days. I hate it when it’s freezing outside and you have to wear loads of clothes.

Yes! I mean 25-27C does me, but I don't mind the 32C days. I hate the winter, I hate the cold, I hate it being dark at 3.45pm, and I really wish I could go abroad for November, December, and January, (or hibernate!)

Noooooooooo. Nothing worse than cold and dark. I was clearly never meant to live in this country. I am a summer person.

Noooo sorry to be the misery here but …

Up here in the true north of the UK - northern Scotland - and not having access to gas, at the mercy of global oil prices thanks to Trump especially, I am dreading colder days and particularly November to end March.

Been eking out my heating oil as I’m expecting it to cost hundreds of pounds more for each fill, which cannot be less than 500 litres. No cap on heating oil! You hear about help but it’s only for people on certain benefits. Just being a pensioner on the so called pension benefit doesn’t count. I have saved but honestly I really worry for many people up here unless the price goes down or wilder help is available
