I'm sick to death already of seeing Andy Burnham and hearing his voice. And he isnt even PM yet. Come back Keir Starmer. All is forgiven. I dont know how I'm going to suffer 3 or four more years of him in charge. Playing the part of the working class hero who is going to save the country. Give me strength.

They don’t want to. There’s always threads like this, on how Zach Polanksi is evil and how useless the Labour Party is. Everyone conveniently forgetting the country didn’t get into a mess in the past two years Labour has been in power. I think Labour have been doing a good job, sure they could do better.
Apparently Andy has been consulting with Gary from Gary does economics fame on instagram and his latest C4 show. Taxing wealth not work sounds good to me, taxing people with assets over £10 million to pay their fair share. Rather than squeezing the rest of us.

Well no you are not good because you are almost instantly recognisable.

They would all be brilliant in comparison to Johnson and Truss.

Andy Burnham stood to be Labour leader twice and on both occasions the membership were clear that we didn’t want him. But instead of having the decency and humility to accept this, he just schemed and plotted to achieve his goal without the members getting a say. He did nothing but undermine Kier Starmer (who was elected as leader by the Labour membership and had a clear mandate from the public) and then launched a coup against him. This is the very conduct that we were so critical of the Tories for doing during their period in office. Absolute shame on Burnham, a career politician whose only motivation is his own ego and personal ambition. I was a Labour member for 25 years, but resigned on Friday. Burnham will fail and rightly so.

People said that about Starmer and then.. even his own MPs didn’t think he was good enough.

It wouldn’t matter who it was or what their policies were, the right wingers will be gunning for their removal. They have been since July 2024.

The comments against Rayners past are disgusting. Many who mock her for having a child young also got pregnant young and aborted.

I personally experienced hostility from a woman at work because I had a child at 16. After getting to know each other properly she once confided she had an abortion at 16.
