Well, about 250,000 Brits are registered as living in Spain and another 49,000 in Portugal although most serious estimates put the combined total at just over a million because so many never bothered to formally inform the authorities they had arrived, like they should have done. The Iberian peninsula, particularly the southern coasts, are some of the most water-distressed places in Europe but the pesky migrants continue to use waaaaay more than their fair share by refusing to integrate and continuing their profligacy with water by carrying on as if they were still in the UK with its endless rain, but with swimming pools too. It's disgusting.

Southern Spain's reservoirs are all full again after the awful Winter they had. No water shortages flagged. How come we can't keep the reservoirs full like that, we are not short of rain surely (apart from right now).

I'm sticking to it begrudgingly while muttering about not being able to let the dog go in any of our local rivers because the water company have pumped them full of shit.

Only the dinner ladies were allowed to flush the toilets or run the taps. We all washed our hands before lunch in the same small basin of water.

Four children using the same bath water wasn't just 1976, but then I did grow up in Yorkshire. Eventually I summoned my mother to look at the colour of it by the time it got to me, and she capitulated.

Notwithstanding that, climate change doesn't really acknowledge nation state borders, and if you can see past that and look into the actual evidence you'll see that current migration patterns are pretty insignificant compared to the modelled climate-driven migration amongst people who are likely to have far more authentic claims to refugee status than the boat people I presume you're wailing about.
