AIBU with my reaction to DP’s humiliating TikTok?

I have had 4 different friends message me today to say they saw a video which included my partner on TikTok. There’s a local account which always posts videos of interviews with the public and businesses particularly people on nights out and drunk. DP watched the England game in a bar so was out really late, and was interviewed on the street after. Everyone was really jubilant, the person filming asked him “after such a long night, do you have anything left in the tank” and he replied “that’s for me to know and the missus to find out when I’m home” to a load of laughter.

I was asleep with our DS and up early so I obviously wasn’t waiting up for him. I’ve told him I don’t see the funny side and he has just said he was absolutely plastered, really buzzing after the match and got carried away so I should just laugh it off. Am I wrong to still find it offensive?

I appreciate the over whelming view here and I’m not going to argue it, I suppose I need to get over it. Thanks for the brutal honesty, I’m going to drop out now.

Seriously it's cringeworthy, but you need to take it with a pinch of salt.

He got caught on the spot by someone with a camera looking for a comment and offered up a jokey riposte. At 3am after a few drinks, it really isn't in the least offensive.

Sex is normal, especially between two consenting adults who have chosen to build a life together.
Being private is fine, but we all know that couples have sex, especially couples with children.

I don't find this so bad, and I'm a private person. He didn't get too crude and it's not necessarily disrespectful. It sounds like he was happy and his thoughts were coming home to be with his wife. It's kind of sweet. I thought you were going to say he was leering or making suggestive comments about other women.

He's done nothing wrong. It's all these muppets filming everything at all times, normalising taking away our human right to live a private life (i.e. to not be famous). Direct your anger at the people recording and uploading, not at him.

I'm not sure the inference is clear, but your DH obv made it a sex reference. What is he usually like? How does he typically speak about you and your relationship? Was this totally out of character? Is it a pattern of disrespect?
