I really enjoyed the thread started by @openthefrontdoorthe other week which was a different take on those boring threads where someone posted a photo.

So I thought I’d start one myself. Not sure I’ll be quite as eloquent but I’ll give it my best shot to drop some random facts

1. Growing up, my dad was clean shaven but for a most fantastic bushy moustache which he took great pride in.

2. Our 1 tv in the house through most of my early years was rented from Radio Rentals and had a wire on the tv remote connecting it.

3. My most treasured Christmas present ever was a Tiny Tears doll that could cry and wet herself

I think we have to start asking which cultural references she understands.

I think it's clear she's over 45 so we need people in their late 50s and 60s to ask questions to find out whether she's a younger or older Gen X.

I’m saying 59 which is my age and this is purely down to the Teeny Tiny Tears thing.

I'm 63 and was an adult when the £1 coin was introduced, so on the basis you remember getting them as pocket money from your Granddad, I'll go with 10 years younger, 53, maybe slightly younger or older

Did you watch Andy Pandy/Bill and Ben the flowerpot men or the Magic Roundabout when you were very small? Or were you a playschool watcher and did you get to see Morph on TV? Were Valerie Singleton, Peter Purves and John Noakes on Blue Peter?

Ok so the wired tv remote is confusing people so I rang my dad! He said the first tv with the wired remote (which I remember) was a hand me down from his mum and dad. The first radio rentals rented tv was an infrared remote and was a Grundig brand
