I really enjoyed the thread started by @openthefrontdoorthe other week which was a different take on those boring threads where someone posted a photo.

So I thought I’d start one myself. Not sure I’ll be quite as eloquent but I’ll give it my best shot to drop some random facts

1. Growing up, my dad was clean shaven but for a most fantastic bushy moustache which he took great pride in.

2. Our 1 tv in the house through most of my early years was rented from Radio Rentals and had a wire on the tv remote connecting it.

3. My most treasured Christmas present ever was a Tiny Tears doll that could cry and wet herself

Ok the house price has thrown me. My parents bought their house in 1969 for £1,500 and even brand new houses in this area were about £4,000 at that kind of time.

The meet up telephone number could have you at 14 anywhere between 1965 and 1995. But Brucie and tiny tears means that you were a child between the early 1970s and 80s.

The house price has thrown me too. Every thing else fits with a 70's baby but I bought my first house in the south east for £34,000 in 1986.

The house my parents own is end of terrace 3 bedroom very normal house in south east London (greater)

7. My Grandad was so in awe of the new £1 coins when they were introduced that for years afterwards he would give me and my brother a pack of smarties with a £1 coins sellotaped to it every time we visited. My parents always ensured these coins were placed safely in our ‘piggy’ banks

I'm revising my guess down from 57 to 49-51 after house price investgations!😂

Oh the nostalgia! My brother and I also collected these National Westminster piggy banks, but didn't manage to get the last one: Nathaniel. I will be 51 this year, so I'm now thinking you are younger than the 60 I previously guessed.
