It's harrowing

I saw that it has been released - I have not read it, but intend to.

Its really important that society knows what these girls suffered.

And its really important that police officers, social workers and other officials who turned a blind eye, or even blamed the victims, are taken to court and sent to prison.

Of all the things I admire about Rupert Lowe, this is #1.

(I say that as a father of several daughters, the eldest of whom is at the younger end of the range of these victims ages).

I’ve read part of it and it’s horrific what those girls were subjected to. I can’t believe that one of them went to hospital with terrible injuries and no questions were asked. Lots of people have let them down and deserve to be prosecuted.

Just read it, really upsetting. Can’t see anything about it on the msm news?

I grew up in Rotherham in the 90’s & early 00’s. The information in this inquiry is nothing we didn’t know before and it’s been in the general public ‘sphere’ for quite a number of years now. It is not ‘old’ news or ‘historic’ either and is still happening.

No surprise there. Convenient timing for the under 16’s internet ban and blaming Russia for everything.

Will the BBC report on it now?

The lack of engagement on this post alone just demonstrates the lack of care people have. They simply do not care. They never have.

It’s horrific, I’ve now read the report and what those poor children went through is beyond words. However, the response of those who should have protected these children, and those who continue to ignore and try to hide this abuse because of ‘racism’ and wanting to protect their position are abhorrent and unconscionable and deserve their own special place in hell. Starmer’s continued move towards a dictatorship will see this hidden from the msm - ask yourself why?

I'm a big basher of the bbc. But Radio 4 women's hour was reporting on this and raising the issue as early as 2013, if not before. Sadly the rest of the bbc seems to ignore the issue.

It's the wrong type of victim, that's why. Awful all round and disturbing how the victims ended up being tarnished. I'm glad that police forces will be investigated. Child exploitation is a serious issue that should never be undermined for fear of racist accusations. That's going to be very hard to do from now on.

What's included in this report is fucking harrowing:

• A baby was abused and had cigarettes stubbed out on it while the mother was forced to watch; the baby was then killed.
• Girls were set on fire.
• Girls were sent to “red rooms” to be tortured, some of them killed, some of it livestreamed.
• One girl was raped by a dog while men bet on whether it would vaginally or anally rape her.

Girls were forced to have abortions with knitting needles.

• Glass bottles, keys, baseball bats, and other objects were forced inside them, some shattering.
• Girls were gang-raped by dozens of men at a time in “party houses.”
• Girls were whipped, hung upside down, suffocated, and urinated on.
• Girls as young as 5 or 6 were tied up and abused.
• Girls were locked in dog cages.
• Girls were branded with an “M” for Muhammad.Girls were threatened with being killed and fed to pigs.
• Girls were mocked for wearing a crucifix during the rapes.

All of this was carried out by predominantly South Asian, Pakistani men, with smaller numbers from Somali, Iranian, Syrian, Turkish, Bangladeshi, and Iraqi men.

And yet perpetrators were let off, authorities turned a blind eye, and it continues to this day because people are scared of being called racist.

Why isn't the report in the major newspapers?

I cant read the report yet, i was abused as a child and I find it very difficult, but im so, so angry about this, absolutely raging. I wish we had class action lawsuits in this country because there needs to be one against the police, NHS, social services and both labour and tori government's. This is fucking evil beyond words. There needs to be arrests for aiding and abetting child rape and torture.

Anyone who lives or lived in any of those northern towns knew this was going on, and the links to the importing and dealing of heroin by the same gangs, but anyone who tried to report anything was silenced, either by threatened with losing their job, actually losing their job, accused of racism and so on.

Definitely in on all of it. Ditto local councillors. One of the gang leaders was in charge of safeguarding in the local council in a town near me.
I am not sure where it was, but one victim managed to get out of a taxi and run into a police station; they sent her straight back out into the taxi again. There was literally nowhere to turn for help.

All racist rapes. Nothing to see here. Lefty liberals are saving their empathy for asylum seekers and minimising a problem that's targeting our children.

Yes, terrible reaction from white liberal-lefties. I don't get it. When I used to be left-wing (long time ago) I would never have given this kind of behavior a free pass.
