Earliest time to cut the grass tomorrow??

I’m on a new build estate, so lots of people living around me. I need to cut the grass tomorrow but want to do it as early as possible to avoid the heat - health conditions make it too difficult once it warms up. Obviously I don’t want to be a dick though 🤦‍♀️

What’s the consensus? 9am???

I'm SE London and they're saying 23 at peak tomorrow. I think that's the hottest they're forecasting across England. 10am it'll only be about 19 degrees. I'm cutting my DMs grass but wouldn't consider before 10am.

I'd not do it till about 11 but 10 I'd say is reasonable.

9 to me is too early to be noisy and potentially wake people up or disturb their morning routine. On a weekend.

Agreed. It might not be a byelaw but it's nice to have one quiet day a week.

9am is reasonable, but check the weather forecast for your area, because its definitely changing tomorrow.

I would say 09. 30 -10.00 is reasonable. Although one of our neighbours mowed his lawn at 08.30….on Christmas Day! 😬

9am here. I did mine at 9.30 this morning.

I wish the weather would turn here, it's still in the mid 20s tomorrow. Was 30 today.

I usually do mine after work.

It doesn’t have to be done on a weekend morning, especially when it’s been dry most days.

My ndn's keep us awake til 2am when they have guests so getting up really early (6am) to get on with watching TV very loudly or mowing the lawn 8am is fine with me😀

DH was going to go out at 8 a couple of weekends ago and and I told him pre 9 was anti social on a Sunday. He went out at 9 and within minutes I could hear several other neighbours mowing, it was all done by ten then so also not disturbing lunches/BBQs etc

I mean my kids are up at the crack of dawn so I wouldn't care as long as it was past 6:30 (just in case they're having a lie in). But now reasonably I'd say 9. That's the earliest for me letting the kids outside (though if my neighbour was mowing his lawn earlier I'd release them early).

Same, my neighbours are regularly out in the garden with music on/drinking with guests until midnight, keeping my kids awake so I have no qualms about waking them up with the lawnmower/kids playing in the garden at 8am!

If you are in the U K 08:00 is fine. If you live where I do, there is not cutting grass on a Sunday, EVER.

It depends how annoying your neighbours are…

Next door might be annoying but other neighbours have to put up with their late noise and your early mornings. I wouldn’t start before 10.
