Christ alive, the bollocks being trawled out on here.
I work in theatre but have friends in the film industry. As a result, I have met Tom three times but am close friends with one of his close friends whom he has worked with on several films. She is female. She agrees he has kept people waiting but absolutely not misogynistic. The fact he has some close female friends who've known him since before he was famous tends to back that up.
Yes, he can be difficult to work with. He himself admits that.
As an exec producer on Mobland he is able/entitled to have a say in scripts. It's why so many actors now are executive producers (look at the credits on some films but especially a lot of US shows; the leads are almost always execs too).
People automatically believing the Hollywood Reporter and the like are idiots. They exist only by making stuff up when there's not much going on.
In my encounters with him he was perfectly pleasant and surprisingly normal compared to many I've met. His wife is lovely.
