I've not watched the show, but the article said the character is charming, unlike how Tom acts behind the scenes. So he's not doing a good job of the method acting if all in the article is correct.

Him being misogynistic would not surprise me at all. He's got a chip on his shoulder about being a posh boy. So is constantly trying to prove he's a hard man. Kinda' like Guy Ritchie.

I have met him 4 times, once in a professional capacity, once at a signing and twice in a personal/social setting.

In every situation he was an utter gentleman. Engaging, funny and seemed to be deeply interested in everyone he talked to.

Short man syndrome is an awful term. I’ve met plenty of lovely short men and utterly awful tall ones. Height has zero bearing on someone’s personality and I have no clue why women think taller men are hotter.

I don’t know anything about Tom Hardy really so can’t comment. If this is only really being spoken about in the DM, I’m at pains to listen to a word. Also intrigued by rumours circulating about him being homosexual when he’s in a 2 decade long relationship with the mother of his children but like whatever.
