These are not the first Afghan refugees who have committed sexual offences against girls and women. They come from a society where women have no worth as humans, only as sexual devices.
This kind of thing needs to be cracked down on because it's an absolute gift to the far right. (As are those who seek to excuse it).

The victim-survivors I assist largely have similar views to me - I know because many have raised with me that they feel that their horrendous experiences and pain have been co-opted, against their will, by the right wing and people like you. It makes them fearful of speaking out about their experiences because they worry that people like you will use it to push an agenda and a point that is not their own.

I have shown no sympathy for rapists in any of my posts. Perhaps you struggle with basic reading and comprehension skills? In any event, I don’t think it is worth continuing to engage.

I’ve been to Morocco, Turkey and Tunisia and it was obvious that there’s a culture difference in how they view woman. Would you you be more scared of your daughter visiting Australia or Afghanistan? We all know men here can be creeps and rapists but to deny there are any differences with woman’s rights and treatment is ignorant. There’s literally documentaries and articles about how woman have been treated in Afaganistan and Iran but if the men come here we’re supposed to pretend they have the same views about woman as us and if we don’t it’s racist! I agree. If the authorities hadn’t been so terrified of accusations of racism then maybe the crimes committed by Axel Rudakubana & Valdo Calocane could have been avoided.

They don’t seem to be able to answer that question with any logical answer and just resort to calling people “racists” and saying that boat migrants raping women and children is ok because white men born here do it.

If you’re suggesting not allowing men in from certain countries because they might be rapists then that’s silly because as we know from things like the Beastie house, it’s any man from any country.

A convicted rapist should not be allowed in any country (apart from being deported to their own) but after that they should not be allowed to travel.
They should have very strict movements restrictions, to always ensure they are being monitored.

But no one on this thread has said any different though have they, so I’m not sure why you’re implying that I sympathise with rapists or want to welcome them in my country.

It really annoys me when people can’t have a discussion about things like this without suggesting that they’re pro-rapist just because they have a different opinion to you.

Nobody said we will never not have migration. But we SHOULD NOT be having hundreds of undocumented men coming into the country and have them dumped in our communities and being allowed to rape women and children! I’m not sure what is so difficult to understand?? Again another ideology that we should just accept ALL migrants and group illegal migrants together with legal ones just because we will ‘always’ have migration. Another non argument!

The government is doing fuck all about the current “refugee” system and anyone who protests about it are called “far right racists” by both the government and idiots on this thread! The asylum system won’t pick up this. There will be men who are not convicted and can’t be checked because the countries they leave from don’t have those systems in place.

There’s no one thing but as we all know, women and girls are more at risk by people they know (close friends and family members) and so this message needs to be drilled into people.
Some people fear a refugee but will happily bring a man they’ve met a handful of times into their homes with their young DCs.

Schools should have more funding and be able to deliver lessons on respect and consent etc.

Social services needs more funding and a better support for social workers - in the majority of cases, SS are aware but the high staff turn around or just not enough times meant things go unnoticed.

Services like the police, SS, schools etc should all have a better system of communicating with each other. As this is also a reason as why things go unnoticed/ unpunished.

And much harsher sentences for SO.

That would be stupid, we are a tiny island and due to stricter EU rules we now have a lot less emigration and we can’t handle as much immigration as before.
