I would call myself left wing because I believe firmly in reducing inequality, I believe in things like universal healthcare free at the point of use, abortion rights and marriage equality. I want companies to be ethical - pay fair wages, not use child or forced labour, not use unsafe materials etc. I think we have a global responsibility and that international aid makes us safer.

That doesn't remotely align me with the Nazi party. The othering of people by race, sexuality, religion, disability is completely at odds with everything I believe in.

I don’t think Trump is necessarily left or right. He is interested in power and money for himself. I don’t think for a minute he cares whether tariffs or wars or getting rid of migrants will make the USA a better place for American citizens. He cares that people notice him and that markets react, and that important people on the world stage come to his door.
