Surely he's not pulling this trick again?

Many on the left are so radicalised now they don't even realise it. You are an utter disgrace. The number of posts here actually upset that the elected leader of a democratic nation wasn't killed because you don't like him is actually insane.

You are all disgusting people. Seriously you disgust me.

I find it more disgusting watching people worship a child rapist, personally.

Trust me, the sentiment is entirely mutual. Have a nice day.

"Pulling this trick again", there are enough "nutters" around without any prompting. The biggest fear is assaination for any PM/president/King/royalty in any country and why they have so much personal protection.

Monty36 · 26/04/2026 10:03

What puzzled me was why so many people in the room seated at tables were filming on their phones, and not just ducking down. Literally sitting bolt upright. Well into the drama. They will know what gunshots sounds like. One or two even walking around.
All very odd.

Holesinmesocks · 26/04/2026 10:04

How did 'Rambo' with his 'guns and knives' get through supposedly high security to shoot at Trump? Secret service aren't doing their job properly unless it was an inside job.
Next episode,'Trump - The Sequel' coming soon.

It was a roomful of journalists – if anyone was going to get their phone out to record a breaking news event, it was them! It's their job!

Personal protection that is near totally useless looking at the footage. I wouldn't trust the seceret service to look after a jam sanadwich.

Just imagine if it was your job to take a bullet, to save Trump. 😵‍💫

Dinner is off and he will do a press briefing in half an hour

The good news is the local MacDonalds do 24 hour delivery and he has them on speed dial. So situation restored to normal.

Cannot wait till Reform win in UK and you all have mental breakdowns 😂

It won't happen. Reform will never secure enough MPs for a majority Parliament. The Hungary election defeat is having a ripple effect across Europe and people are thank god starting to turn against far right-wing rhetoric.

Speed dial! Oops showing my age there. What I meant was he has the app.

🍔🍔🍔🍟🍟🍟Here’s your order Mr T, enjoy.

The CCTV footage of the security checkpoint makes it look even more staged. Standing around chatting with weapons holstered while on active surveillance and protection duty? And they don't notice the guy running towards them until right before he's flying past? Bullshit.

There are posts saying that the shooter's profile picture showed him in an IDF sweatshirt before his profile got taken down which is interesting.

I'd expect the King's trip to be "postponed" (cancelled), the ballroom to get built, and the midterms to also be "postponed". They're currently searching the shooter's house, they'll find evidence to support whichever narrative they want to push.

I'd be good with that.

I'm not a hard worker.

Holesinmesocks · 26/04/2026 10:20

The nut jobs are out in force on here, someone wants us to have mental break downs in the UK when Reform get in, some think Trump is some sort of hero wtaf.
MAGA supporters are very obvious on here.🙄
I'm sure some of these peeps will feel better soon once they've calmed down and are put back into their strait jackets with a strong sedative.
I feel sorry for the Americans who hate the Tango kid and have him running ruining their the country.
Aside is it my imagination or has he dropped the orange look recently? Looks pasty and washed out, may be the message has finally gotten through he looked a complete joke to majority of the world.

Goldeh · 26/04/2026 10:22

Also the shooter was staying at the hotel. A hotel which, for this high profile event, would need to have been booked around a year ago as it tends to sell out ahead of the dinner as attendees stay there. Trump only decided he was attending this thing around a month ago.

PomplaMouse · 26/04/2026 10:25

If Reform get in, I'll be extremely worried and disappointed.

But, however I feel about Nigel Farage and his policies, he's not about to seek to end democracy in the UK or anywhere else.

Its just simply not comparable or even relevant.

Eskarina1 · 26/04/2026 10:25

Ah yes, Mumsnet, well known as the home of the radical far left.

I'm not sure you understand what the extreme far left looks like, but it doesn't look like objecting to citizens being detained at gunpoint or objecting to wars being started without appropriate cause, plans and process.

Nor does it look like objecting to repeated, obvious, lies from politicians.

Oh no, that's put us in our places(!) 🙄

Be as disgusted as you like. Personally it disgusts me that you're speaking in support of a maniac who has brought about the amount of misery and unrest that orange moron has. Wanting the global destabilisation and outright insanity to stop has nothing to do with being on the left or radicalised (and in case you didn't realise it, many on the right can't stand him either).

It's not about us 'not liking him'. It's about wanting the insanity to stop for the good of humankind.

LesbianNana · 26/04/2026 10:29

Mintchocs · 26/04/2026 07:36

Most people, including a lot of MAGAs these days, think that he stages this stuff to seem all courageous and hero like. Most people think its a load of bollocks though, including me.

Nobody thinks this instead of insane Democrats, of which to be fair, are most.

That people believe Trump convinced a Kamala Harris supporting black man to sacrifice his life so he could build a ballroom is completely deranged.

Can I please inset "objecting to threads of being annexed" to the list, please?

The far left are much more dangerous than the far right.

Can you substantiate that claim?

As is the people believing the footage of the “security breech”.

Seriously is that really the level of security in the White House at a function all the top personnel including the president are attending?🤣

I do think the false-flag stuff is too "out there", but also an understable response to least credible administration of a Western nation in most of our living memories.

Its boy-who-cried-wolf type stuff, in that its become almost impossible to believe anything that Trump says or does.

In what way?
