To take up a bigger table than needed in a cafe?

To try to use a bigger table in a cafe?

I know it’s not always possible, such as during busy times, and I would never ‘hog’ a larger table for myself.

But during quiet times… such as right now! I’m in a cafe on my own with 2 dogs and I’ve sat myself at a 4 seater table.

I actually hate 2 seater ones. They are just too small and I get claustrophobic with all the clutter of cutlery, condiments, sides of veg etc.

I like to spread out!

Not according to the other dog bashing thread currently running! Hardly anyone there is able to find a cafe that doesn’t allow dogs! 🤷‍♀️

Owner bashing surely? I'm not bashing anyone's dog. I have one, she's lovely!

Dog owner bashing, someone has even been unkind enough to call them gormless, just because they do things differently to others 🤷‍♀️

Dogs shouldn't be in cafes.

Most dogs are better behaved than many young kids I've seen in cafés! Give me a dog in a café over a screaming child any day of the week (and yes, I'm a mother and grandmother, and always made sure my kids/grandkids didn't scream the place down or treat it like a playground. Most parents aren't as considerate...). Nothing wrong with a well behaved dog under the table.
