Spent so many hours of my retirement mindlessly scrolling

Read a fair few self help and parenting books, which really helped me.

Licked a Himalayan salt lamp.

Started mounjaro. And I am now 2.5 stones down and so grateful to the lovely people on here who inadvertently encouraged me to start something that has helped me so much

Understood pensions and got my shit sorted out

Kept my sanity through multiple miscarriages.
Stored my laundry in one of the pillow cases.
Known about BorrowBox.
Found my favourite daal recipe.
Been as prepared for breastfeeding.
Found the beyond sleep training Facebook group.

I’d have left my first husband a lot earlier if I’d found MN back then. I might not have married him tbh.

Probably the same as upthread. Bought my house and struck out on my own. Now have a tiny income and my own space. And a dog. And learnt to drive.

It would have taken me a lot longer to figure out that my husband was an abusive alcoholic. I probably would have figured this out eventually but Mumsnet shook me out of my denial.

Found Mounjaro and got my life back

Applied for the best job I've ever had.

Gone NC with my mother and brother. I've been through so many years of mental ill health and therapy, and one comment from someone wise on here (not directly to me) gave me the courage to finally do it. I've known true inner peace for the first time in my life and I'm so very grateful.

Learned to stop taking other's negativity so personally, particularly thanks to aibu.
