I didn't know he had more than one property.
Has he left belongings at Royal Lodge.
Surely even AMW would dump any evidence.

You'd think. If they're searching more than one property I'm guessing his current one as well. They did say Norfolk.

Madasahattersteaparty1749 · 19/02/2026 10:40

I think that the RF were aware this was going to happen, they were given a heads up by the police to essentially distance themselves eg no titles, out of the massive house etc. I think he will be charged but it will be a suspended sentence rather than jail time.

Gettingbysomehow · 19/02/2026 10:41

Shit what a fiasco 😱

Getting my knitting ready by the tumbrils.

I love this - anyone who uses "the tumbrils" is top dog to me

It's quite obvious. There is no coincidence with the removal of titles, clearout and the move. Timing is everything.

ArticWillow · 19/02/2026 10:43

Prison is to nice for that creep.
I'd love to see him end up a homeless statistic - no friends and definitely no help financial or otherwise from anyone.

Problem with Prison is he'll either buy his way out or kill himself like his mate to avoid justice.

Totally agree. It's been said that Charles knew this would be coming last Autumn. But the final straw was Andrew blatantly waving to people with a big grin on his face in Windsor great park a couple of weeks ago, hence the midnight flit.

Glad the UK is leading the way in actually doing something about those named in the files unlike everywhere else it seems.

The UK is NOT leading the way. European nations started arresting the men who whose identities were in the Epstein files.

This is too little - too late.

Andrew should have been charged with SA. He wasn’t.

The Police also need to investigate the murder of the Latvian woman whose body was found near Andrew’s mansion years ago.

CallMeDaphne · 19/02/2026 10:45

Oh the Grand Old Duke of York,
He had 12 million quid,
He gave it to someone he’d never met,
For something he never did.

(altogether now!)

NoTouch · 19/02/2026 10:45

HoskinsChoice · 19/02/2026 10:40

But the files that provide evidence of potential wrongdoing were not released until after he had moved out. The police had no control over the files being released and are not psychic!

Agree, but did the RF know what was potentially coming so had a clear out while the release of the files were delayed again until after the move?

It was reported Royal lodge had lots of evidence items built up over the years in it and needed a big clearout.

This has nothing to do with his sexual antics. This is his behaviour as a trade envoy.

That's what I thought.

About time!
have been pondering if one of the reasons it’s happened now he’s at Sandringham, is because he’s now off ‘crown property’ … don’t know but it just seems to have fallen just as he’s moved

I would rather Andrew was investigated on everything, but at the moment, I will take anything rather than him sat at home, stuffing foie gras and birthday cake today being a smug, untouchable bastard.

Absolutely this. I keep reading that the "UK is leading the way". Propaganda at it's finest. To say nothing of the RF trying to bail out one of their own (and silence a trafficked woman) to the tune of £12 million.

Agreed.

It was a bad move by Queenie imo and something that will taint her memory.

Yes. Yesterday on the radio I heard the uncomfortable questions being fended off by an MP who'd come across him in his work.

I hope he's being held in a cell.

There is no evidence that she gave him money for this pay off, and certainly no evidence for the sum of £12m.

LizzieW1969 · 19/02/2026 10:52

Regardless of whether this is about the Epstein files or ‘just’ about misconduct in public office’, I’m hoping that he’ll be charged with something. It will still be a lot better than I ever expected.

And hopefully the investigation will lead to more evidence concerning his links with Epstein coming to light.

Will he finally decide to reveal all he knows? If he doesn’t, will Mandelson, who will also be part of this investigation?

Sadly, I have my doubts. There are powerful men, including the current POTUS, who have every reason to conceal what their own involvement in the Epstein scandal.
