Delighted for Matt and Tabby. Gutted for Freya and Marcus - missed bronze by 0.01 of a second (I read on a sports page so assume it’s accurate, I did watch it but was so excited for the gold didn’t really take the rest in). I did think Freya’s run was amazing!

Also watched women’s big hill ski jumping and the men’s big air qualifying, both fun to watch.

Unknown I always find it weird that it’s such a small margin and people

away thinking they aren’t great when it’s tenth of a second - not necessarily here but like in athletics

Well in the 100 m sprint, it's a metre, which is huge. In longer distances, not so much.

Just the competitive nature of elite sportspeople, I think. And also down to how they've done against their pb, if they lose by that amount but put in the best performance they've ever done, they tend to be happier than if they know they can and have done better.

DS and I watched about 3 minutes of a novice (BBC presenter I think) try the bobsleigh (I think). Rather him than me.
We then tried to watch the freestyle but it was snowed off. DH told me he listened on the radio in the car but it's not an ideal radio sport!

Yes tried that in Blackpool they used to have an iced slide chute like that, one of my (then younger) kids wanted to try it so i had to brave up & accompany him.NEVER EVER AGAIN!
