Its making me anxious watching them.

Im not sure Ive seen this before, not sure how Ive missed it

It was about a shoulder touch I think

although I did see his skate go in between china legs and trip him

It looked like an accident to me, like he slipped surely?

Devastating.

They slipped after yes - the interference came first

It went on to the ice hockey which for some reason Im not remotely interested in

Was thinking exactly the same thing today when it came on! Madness!!

I love the Winter Olympics although it scares me silly just watching them.

The only part of it I'm not that bothered about is the figure skating but so much of the rest is fun to watch.

A lot of it features people hurling themselves down steep, icy mountains at totally insane speeds. It's good fun to watch, if very nerve wracking.

The view from behind the competitors of the slope downwards for the ski jumpers this evening was quite something. And yet they just casually launch themselves down it to then fly over 100 meters through the air and land prettily for extra points.

I loved the fact they had one competition called “normal hill” and one called “big hill”. Keeps it simple 😄

Also gutted for our GB speed skater tonight.

I was convinced someone was going to lose fingers in the women’s relay, so many whizzing round. But they seem to know what they are doing, well except for the US one who pushed her team mate right over at the first changeover.

It shows how they’re just sliding on ice most of the time, not snow as in so many other events.

It was lovely to see how happy all 3 British competitors were with their positions. 3 in the top 10 is amazing. Looks good for the next one.

Speed skating looks like chaos every time. I don’t know why anyone would do this! Years of training just for some fucker to trip you up.

Yep, Elise Christie fell foul of it several Olympics in a row despite being number one on paper. It's madness, and the relay even more so.

I caught a bit of this! One went down backwards and over the edge backwards. My stomach lurches when the camera shows just how high and steep that slope is!

It makes me nervous as well. The risk of a broken neck if they crash is scary!
