Polanski is a buffoon

1000 replies

Bertiebiscuit · 07/02/2026 18:28

How anyone can take the Green party leader Zac Polanski seriously is completely beyond me. He has zero grasp of economics, beyond conning women out of ££££s by pretending he could hypnotise them to increase their bust measurements. He is the worst representative of gay men who worship the men pretending to be women, with no regard for womens and girls' right to privacy, dignity and safety. The man is a 24 carat buffoon.

Exactly, almost constant evasion of what is so right wing and bad about what women are arguing for.

The word thick is also used by Reform

So by YOUR reckoning of “If you use the same words you must be a supporter” - you must support reform. Right?

😂😂😂😂Do you have any idea how utterly ridiculous you sound?!

if women’s rights are “extreme right” then the left is truly truly lost.

I’m so tired of this shit. The threat to women comes from everywhere- with trans folk at the absolute bottom of a long long long long long long list headed up, as we have seen, by elite white men and the women who assist them.

Are you kidding? The biggest threat to women is men - murder, rape, dv, coercive control… If ZP was in charge you’d have a trans girl sharing a dorm with your DD on her next school trip.

But I have to say, people like @Goldenbear are the exact people putting people off left politics.

Im a lifelong Labour voter (bar tactical votes, but always in support of Labour). I’m changing direction (probably into no man’s land as currently politically homeless) not only because I’ve found Starmer’s Labour to be the most Tory-like Labour Government, but because the left - which once had a wholly sensible collective of people who cared about women, poor people and the working classes - is now inhabited with unintelligent mouthpieces who say things like “So you’re transphobic! Why not go to Farage” - and they do it relentlessly and ENTIRELY in place of a reasonable debate. I am, and always have, been a person who will debate anything. But debating with an adult toddler is impossible and I don’t know where the hell they’ve come from, but these half wits have picked the left to settle.

The rapid and marked deterioration in the public's ability to debate with even a small amount of intelligence is worrying.

I see it more on the left, but that might be because I more naturally gravitate in those directions.

Instead of engaging with the content of the issue, and finding out where somebody is coming from, seeking to understand and then consider whether they agree or not and why, they go straight to assumptions without evidence, personal insults and attempts to smear and cancel.

What's being taught in our schools and universities these days that is leaving people so unskilled in critical thinking and debating skills, and so sure that it's ok - or even virtuous - to engage in personal attacks as a substitute?

BunfightBetty · 10/02/2026 10:18

Ereshkigalangcleg · 10/02/2026 10:06

Also there is a lot of tension between the pro trans cohort and the Islamist cohort. I think it will be very hard to keep both sides happy, especially when the genderists want anyone who disagrees purged.

Yep, there's two hopes of them keeping both of these happy at once, and one of them's Bob.

The anti Jew stuff is horrific. I’m sorry but I don’t care about Palestine. It’s not something we can massively influence so I’d far rather we concentrate on things we can. MPs wittering on about Palestine is such a waste of UKgovernment time

I don’t care about Palestine either.
I do care about my family being safe and being able to go about their day being themselves without abuse.
The way Jewish people are being treated at the moment - by people like some on this thread who won’t engage in critical discussion but just vomit out sound bites of “Free Palestine” without any regard for how it compromises Jewish safety - echoes how women are being gaslighted.
“Free Palestine” and “You’re transphobic” are both catchphrases that people think they can use to shut down legitimate concerns over the safety of women and Jews.
These people are dangerous and hateful.

Agreed. I support women’s right to single sex spaces. If that means im automatically a ‘transphobic bigot’ regardless of my feelings towards the many lovely trans people I know who also cringe at the thought of transwomen in women’s spaces so be it..

No doubt, they, like Polanski, think the policewoman being hit with a sledgehammer for doing her job was acceptable collateral damage for their noble cause. Not so vocal about Iran, most of them.

It's so vile.

And yes, not a peep about Iran. More than 36,000 murdered in a short space of time, and where's the campaigning? None of that has been rolled into the omnicause. No Jews, no news indeed.

I literally said that men are the biggest danger women and girls face.
men, not trans women.
Regarding the dorm, I genuinely don’t see what you think one trans teen is going to do.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 10/02/2026 11:23

“Trans women” are men. What’s the difference? Perhaps you could articulate it? Would it be ok to put any other male in with the girls? Why/why not?

Transwomen ARE men. There’s no difference between men and transwomen except it’s the transwomen that are accessing spaces where women are vulnerable and/or undressing which is a violation of our consent and our boundaries. Oh and that they are incarcerated at higher rates for sexual offences than other men.

And even if nothing as serious as sexual assault or rape happens it’s still a violation of girls privacy and dignity to be forced to share accomodation and washing facilities with males.

Our girls are being made to ignore the natural instincts that protect them, being told their fears are bigotry. They are being taught that the desires of males are more important than girls actual needs. Its shameful.

Judge Rules Loudoun County Teen Sexually Assaulted Female Student in Girls’ Bathroom

A Virginia juvenile court judge concluded Monday that a transgender teenager sexually assaulted a female student in a Loudoun County high school in May.

What school in the uk do you think would ‘force’ any student to share a dorm with a trans student? They simply couldn’t and wouldn’t do it. School trips take months to arrange and the accommodation is always done in consultation with students and parents.

You’ve linked to an article on rape culture in schools which I am well aware of. This rape culture is amongst straight males. Not perpetrated by trans kids.
The other link seems to be in a school in the states?

How are girls supposed to know if these are trans identifying boys in their single sex spaces or just predatory teen boys? What’s the difference?

What are you not getting here? Transwomen are male. Thats they have declared that they wish they were female does NOT CHANGE their male pattern behaviour. That’s what the US link was to prove.

the link to rape culture in schools was to demonstrate how naive you are thinking that a teenager could not harm girls.

Are you thinking that if a biologically male teen feels he's really a girl, and says he's a 'trans girl' or similar, that he must be gay and be attracted to boys? You'd be very mistaken if so.

It might make it clearer if you think about the reasons why boys and girls/males and females were ever segregated by sex in the first place, when it comes to eg sleeping arrangements on a school trip. Why was that, do you think?

Yes exactly. I have teenage girl, and a boy. This has never, ever, come up as an issue. Not for them or any of their friends at different schools either.

Not to say we shouldn’t be cautious about it because I do think protecting female only spaces is important, but it just isn’t an issue that comes up much in real life in my experience, if at all. Same with women holding their urine and getting UTIs because they’re worried a man will be in the public toilets - the issue that other poster spent pages and pages posting about.

I’d rather vote for a left wing party who’s leader is not mentioned in the Epstein Files, isn’t associated with the rise of fascism or trying to maintain wealth inequality- all of which are a much greater threat to women’s interests in my opinion.

The blind spot is astonishing. I think it’s cognitive dissonance because no one has ever explained how they are different from other men, given that any man can declare himself to be a “trans woman” tomorrow.

Mishmosher · 10/02/2026 13:04

I have an acquaintance who is a Green Party campaigner, early 30s, dyed in the wool woke bro. Way back at the start of the gender debate on an open forum I questioned why I ought to be expected to share an open changing room with a trans identifying male as it meant I and other women might see male genitalia we didn’t want to see. I was told to grow up, I was a bigot, trans women are women, they were just body parts, what if I was a medic, I’d see body parts all the time. I am a lawyer, not a doxtor. I gave up trying to reason with him at that point. These people have no comprehension whatsoever that women are entitled to boundaries, and are entitled to an expectation that those boundaries be maintained and respected.

Grade A misogyny.
