Polanski is a buffoon

1000 replies

Bertiebiscuit · 07/02/2026 18:28

How anyone can take the Green party leader Zac Polanski seriously is completely beyond me. He has zero grasp of economics, beyond conning women out of ££££s by pretending he could hypnotise them to increase their bust measurements. He is the worst representative of gay men who worship the men pretending to be women, with no regard for womens and girls' right to privacy, dignity and safety. The man is a 24 carat buffoon.

I think The Green Party are potentially out future hope.

I don't put too much into their current leader, I think he's charismatic, but so was Johnson, so that attribute doesn't really impress me.

I like most of their policies. But there is one I just cannot go with. That's the withdrawal from NATO.

I understand, and agree, that a European force is what's needed.

but in what I see as such dangerous times, leaving NATO doesn't seem like an option at the moment.

It’s odd he chose the surname Polanski when it’s so associated with a child abuser.
So many names to choose from and that’s the one?

@GingerBeverage to be fair, it was a family name… However, he found out he’d actually got the spelling wrong once he’d legally changed his name but decided he couldn’t change it again (even though wrong…).

GainOfFunctionTories · 07/02/2026 20:15

I like him. He answers questions honestly and immediately. He has clear and sensible policies. Taxing the super rich is so needed. You hear the cries of ‘but they’ll leave !’ I didn’t hear that in regards to Brexit and many of the ultra wealthy left due to that !

He knows the struggles of real people. Real families. He says himself he knows people won’t agree with everything he stands for but asks for support for the things that we all want - lower bills , fairer wages , quality of life , protecting the nhs and cleaning up the sewage filled waters of the U.K. I was a lifelong Labour supporter but I joined the Green Party 2 weeks ago as I think they are the future the UK needs.

Have you looked into the actual story about the hypnotism/boobs thing? I'm guessing not if you're repeating the headlines...

May I ask Who you do admire, and compare him to? Just so I can get a level understanding of your politics...

Fill us in then, what have we missed? What misconceptions could have from the story? If you believe false impressions have been created I'd be keen to hear a different perspective

What are his 'clear and sensible policies'?

More welfare and more migration?

Jeschara · 07/02/2026 20:18

I can't stand him either.

I’d rather 10 of him to one orange buffoon.

Is that our only choice?

What are his 'clear and sensible policies'?

Tax the super rich
protect the nhs
give renters more rights / lower rents
Legalise and regulate drugs
Clean up the water and nationalise water companies

GainOfFunctionTories · 07/02/2026 20:22

I also have daughters there’s no way I’d ever want a Reform government who would do so much harm to women and girls

I'm not voting for any Party that thinks a man can be a woman.
(a) I'm not voting to erase women's rights
(b) How can you take anything they say seriously after that twaddle?

How the fuck is he planning on protecting the NHS? He hasn't got a clue. Just sound bites.

Reform will strip away abortion rights , Farage has been clear in the past his opinion on the current limits and to me that is a greater threat to women’s rights and safety .

Do you know what the latest is on the nuclear deterrent? Ik he talked about leaving NATO but rowed back a bit?

Would he leave us exposed on defence?

How are any of the other parties proposing protecting the nhs currently ? I believe what he says and I feel he is the best chance this country has . We are so conditioned to despair fighting against each other and struggling that we can’t see the way out that he’s offering. Thank goodness he’s so popular with the younger generation as that will hopefully be what he needs in time for the next general election.

Yeah... That AI summary doesn't explain that Polanski did, in fact say he could do this and has "apologised" for doing so.

Polanski apologises over claim he can increase women’s breast sizes with his mind https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/zack-polanski-green-party-hypnotherapy-b2819071.html

Several Labour MPs have criticised the new Green Party leader over the claims, with one describing them as ‘grim’

That's why I suggested you can google it. Better to be safe than sorry and that way you can look at various sources, make sure you are getting the full story.

He says he'll "protect" it - but that's an easy claim. Without explaining HOW he intends to do such a thing, it really is just a soundbite.

Hence me saying Google it, as various sources report on it. He apologised for getting caught up in it but never thought he could increase breast size etc. It was more about body confidence etc, but the journalist wanted a sensational headline that people with short attention spans would be attracted by..... Fair play, that approach worked!

HPFA · 07/02/2026 20:31

He's fundamentally cynical and dishonest.

He's released videos essentially promising people we can fund all sorts of wonderful (and expensive) things simply by "taxing billionaires".

His party has released election leaflets with statistics verging on the fraudulent and misquoting an academic who has not endorsed the party. He had to make a formal complaints to put a stop to it.

His views on defence are ludicrous and he would be happy to shove Ukraine into the hands of Putin.

He won't have the Nicola Sturgeon problem when asked whether an obvious male is a woman - he will be happy to lie.

I don't regard him as any better than Farage when it comes to lies.
