Polanski is a buffoon

1000 replies

Bertiebiscuit · 07/02/2026 18:28

How anyone can take the Green party leader Zac Polanski seriously is completely beyond me. He has zero grasp of economics, beyond conning women out of ££££s by pretending he could hypnotise them to increase their bust measurements. He is the worst representative of gay men who worship the men pretending to be women, with no regard for womens and girls' right to privacy, dignity and safety. The man is a 24 carat buffoon.

Oh I agree, this is laughably naive https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/zack-polanski-says-he-would-try-to-persuade-vladimir-putin-to-give-up-his-nuclear-weaponsuk691060bbe4b004594276d633?origin=article-related-nonlife.
It's not that the Greens are hard-headed realists. It's just that compared to other countries they are the most realist in foreign policy. Which is terrifying.

I think the Greens have moved position slightly on nuclear in that the don't seem to be advocating for unilateral disarmament. ** Polanski's argument seems to be we will be wanting to get rid of our own nukes but it's OK because at the same time we will have persuaded Russia and other countries to get rid of theirs. (This makes them belligerent war mongers in the eyes of the real left of course. Sigh)

I just don't think that is going to happen. If anything, there are going to be more countries with nuclear weapons over the next decades which is scary but not something the UK can unilaterally fix.

**If there are recent quotes of Polanski on this please let me know. I looked and I can only find him saying things like in the article linked. Which is foolishness. But not as foolish.

Reform will strip away abortion rights , Farage has been clear in the past his opinion on the current limits and to me that is a greater threat to women’s rights and safety .

Not every women requires an abortion. But EVERY woman needs to have female only safe space to go to the toilet or to change. It affects 100% of women.

Where as abortion only affects less than 20% of women.

Womens rights to female only spaces is by far AND OVERWHELMINGLY the pressing issue.

He seems a good, committed man to me. Greens deserve a chance. Party members around here are hard working and kind people, trying to do their little bit to improve things. Democracy means that everyone is free to choose. Calling people baboons etc for having a different opinion isn’t what voters deserve. Green Party volunteers are out in force over in Gorton and Denton as the by election gets nearer. They are all volunteers, out speaking to the constituents there and supporting the candidate who lives there. She is a plumber and councillor. In contrast, Reform have access to huge amounts of money to support their candidate who lives 200 miles away. Other parties do what they do…..
Doing a little bit, to make things a bit better is more positive than shutting everyone down and doing nothing practical.

It's not 'good' or 'positive' to remove womens hard won sex based rights.

I’m so tired of this shit. The threat to women comes from everywhere- with trans folk at the absolute bottom of a long long long long long long list headed up, as we have seen, by elite white men and the women who assist them.

I'm so tired of this absolute bullshit. The threat to women is males. Transwomen are males. Trans Ideology means males can enter female spaces where RAPE SURVIVORS LIKE ME are. It has managed, in less than a decade, the upend society, to have women re-defined to 'front holes', 'birthing person', 'menstruators', 'cervix havers', to nurses not allowed to change menstrual blood-soaked pants away from a male gaze, to women losing their jobs to saying no to getting naked in front of males.

NEVER has an Ideology endangered womens lives more than it has this one.

What a deflection. What happens to womens rights like the right to be treated equally in a marriage if we leave the ECHR ChardonnaysBeastlyCat? I'm sure your obdurate nature will mean there is no response just like there wasn't on the political party you do align with, presumably because it's the embarassing one beginning with R or C either way both don't give a crap about women's rights.

Needing a female only space to go to the toilet and change affects 100% of women EVERY....DAY, and is a much more pressing issue than any whataboutery you could desperately come up with.

What do you mean, "there is nothing green about them"? Quite a bold statement probably backed up by zero knowledge!

Come on! They abandoned the environment many, many years ago. And we all know this.

Why would any sane woman vote Reform though for example when they will strip away abortion rights and tax women who don’t have children ? Voting Green is not the worst option for women !

Why do you think it's one or the other? That if people don't vote Green they will vote Reform? Or even bother to vote at all? I get with extremists they ass'ume everyone else is one extreme or another, but really, you're clutching at straws. Reform don't represent womens rights and I don't think anyone has said they did. There IS a middle ground, you know. Or, simply not voting.

ThatBlackCat · 09/02/2026 12:31

Goldenbear · 08/02/2026 14:09

Yes it's an absolute joke that Reform would stand up for women's rights for a start they want to get rid of the ECHR which protects women's rights including the prohibition of discrimination, which extends to gender-based discrimination in various rights and ensuring equal rights in marriage for spouses. You'd have to be averse to the slightest pulsation of logical thoughts, if you think Reform stand for women!

Why do you ass'ume that people who won't vote Green will automatically vote Reform? Why do you always deal in extremes?

They are indeed but just put yourself in the place of women who do need or desire an abortion please. 20% = 20 in every 100 pregnant women is not a small number.

That right, which women of my generation, (2nd generation feminists) fought so hard for, MUST NOT be stripped away. A major reason for women NOT TO VOTE for Reform under any circumstances.

Sorry but it is just absolutely wrong to say the boob hypnosis story is a smear. He did it, he participated fully and had his “Harley street clinic” advertised at the end of the article - it is pure self serving grift and charlatan behaviour - exploiting women with low self esteem. He also can’t claim to have been particularly young - a man of 30.

I don’t believe anything written in The Sun, especially after Hillsborough.

I listed some of the rights. The rights can be found by googling it. If you want to vote for Kemi or Farage you would think 'all' women's rights would be argued for not just some?

Just have the guts and honour and decency to answer the question, don't be a coward.

You cannot defend the 'rights' of something you cannot define. You cannot defend 'womens rights' if you cannot define what a woman is, as that definition is what separates them as an oppressed class. How do you fight against oppression if you cannot define it?

Why do you automatically assume non-Green voters will vote for Reform?

Where did this come from?

Why do you ass'ume that people who won't vote Green will automatically vote Reform? Why do you always deal in extremes?

I think Reform are the only party as morally corrupt as the Greens and that’s why the Greens point to Reforms direction. There are many more centrist parties we can vote for.

The Greens can try to justify their trans stance any which way they want, but it’s the number one issue for me and many female voters and I immediately rule out any party that thinks women can have penises.

Thr Lib Dem, Green and SNP manifestos are utterly irrelevant to me. I won’t be looking at them because there is no way in hell I’ll vote for them. I’m not alone.

anotherside · 09/02/2026 12:40

Agree don’t think much of Polanski. Though they’re never going to win an election, at best part of a coalition. We need to give Labour a chance to sort the country out. The alternative is back to the Tories, whove already showed us what they can do with 14 years of utter failure on the economy, housing, immigration, public services and so on. Or Reform, basically the Tory reject party with an extra side of crazy, led by the racist and antisemite Farage.

ThatBlackCat · 09/02/2026 12:42

A disagreement is not this. You are gassing on about women's rights and the Green party, you are literally arguing the same points as Kemi and Farage both of whom want to be rid of the ECHR which protects women's rights.

This is getting more unhinged. 'You agree with Kemi and Farage on something so that must mean you support Reform'. Hitler liked dogs. He also drank water. Does that mean you support Hitler? Please grow up.

ThatBlackCat · 09/02/2026 12:44

Goldenbear · 08/02/2026 15:24

The Greens, The Lib Dems, Labour all don't know what a woman is apparently but the parties include many women members and the last election was won by a massive Labour majority which means that millions of women voters don't know what a woman is either. This is the argument that Kemi and Farage bang on about. It's just a complete deflection from massive issues that impact people, poverty, jobs, economic growth, the environment.

Womens rights is also a massive issue too. Strange how little you understand that point.

I didn't assume that at all. Not sure how you got that from my post. I'm just stating that no woman should vote Reform based on their lack of support for women's rights including that of abortion.

It's a chat forum, I don't care whether you care what I think, you are wrong. Your views mirror those of Farage or Kemi, why so timorous in owning that.

And I think that you are wrong and morally wrong to think that women don't deserve our hard won sex based rights and that people like you want to shit on the headstones of our foremother feminists who achieved those things that you know deem 'not necessary'. I have a particular hatred for Mens Rights Activists.

ThatBlackCat · 09/02/2026 12:52

Goldenbear · 08/02/2026 15:52

It's not about that though, you et al. Are putting women off voting for all the parties that care more for equality than Reform ever will. Your actions are a danger to democracy but I'm not convinced you are not well aware of that.

Name one party that cares for equality. And don't mention the Greens or LDP/SNP because I will burst out laughing.

But the topic of this thread is Polanksi and Greens. So why are people dragging Reform into it, unless they assume that people who don't vote Greens are Reform by default?

Why even mention Reform, at all?

I think the ‘he hates women’ thing is just referring to the fact he isn’t anti trans rights. It doesn’t seem to be based on anything else.

I agree with his message too. He’s the only politician who’s campaigning against wealth inequality. Everyone else just wants to preserve the status quo, and we just need to look at the Epstein files to see where having an elite, rich ruling class has got us.

It refers to the fact that he is anti womens rights.

You can be pro trans rights YET STILL think female only spaces should remain female only single sex spaces for women and girls and rape survivors and DV survivors. Yet somehow you and your ilk think it's only one or the other.
