Polanski is a buffoon

1000 replies

Bertiebiscuit · 07/02/2026 18:28

How anyone can take the Green party leader Zac Polanski seriously is completely beyond me. He has zero grasp of economics, beyond conning women out of ££££s by pretending he could hypnotise them to increase their bust measurements. He is the worst representative of gay men who worship the men pretending to be women, with no regard for womens and girls' right to privacy, dignity and safety. The man is a 24 carat buffoon.

Just say you’re a Tory/ right winger and be done with it. Don’t use your and my and all of our womanhood as your figleaf

I am neither a Tory nor a right-winger but to all intents and purposes I am a TERF and bloody well know what a woman is. Politically there is no party I can vote for.

Why should she say it when she isn’t? Just because you can’t process that she’s politically homeless?

saveforthat · 08/02/2026 16:10

I am appalled that a leader of a political party has publicly congratulated a terrorist group for not (yet) being punished for their crimes, one of which was to attack a police officer (female) with a sledge hammer, permanently damaging her spine. For that alone he should not be allowed to even be in a political party, let alone lead it. Any Green voters on here, are you happy with that?

It appears quite a few of them are.

Perfect illustration of the point I was trying to make, though. So there's that.

“You will admit you are a secret right winger!”

ConstanzeMozart · 08/02/2026 16:13

I thought it was interesting how that Guardian piece dealt with the comment about wiping bums. Deflected to how his husband is a carer, and how it was (apparently) all about political point-scoring for Wes Streeting. Doesn't address his actual comment at all.
I think he's a weasel.
I don't want the UK to withdraw from NATO.
And I don't want men in women's spaces and facilities.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 08/02/2026 16:15

Apparently his husband is some sort of physiotherapist, not a minimum wage carer of the type Polanski was talking about/disparaging. Wankers.

ginasevern · 08/02/2026 16:16

The hypno tits incident was apparently a press sting by the Daily Star. I'm reasonably content that this is the truth. I like the fact that he's a threat to billionaires and the establishment (rather like Corbyn was). I don't like the fact that he seems to care more about Palestine than home grown troubles and I don't like the fact that he and his cohorts have misogynistic and overly simplistic views on women and women's safety. And I don't like the fact that Green councillors in Bristol walk out of meetings when asked questions that don't align with their own views. This shows a lack of intellectual maturity and basically an inability to govern. So as a left wing voter I find many of their policies appealing but unfortunately I don't trust them.

None of you are politically homeless though are you? You’re right at home in the current climate. Trump, Farage, Badenoch, most of the media are all right alongside. Life for trans people is pretty miserable and as far as I can see, life for women is no better as a result

Ereshkigalangcleg · 08/02/2026 16:21

If anyone isn’t clear on the comment being mentioned, Polanski said we need immigration because he didn’t “particularly want to wipe someone’s bum”.

Excellent and eloquent summary.

Which the Zacktivists on this thread will ignore and just demand to see your Reform membership card.

Please stop lying about women who believe biological sex is important, just because you see things in such a simplistic way.

Wheresrebeccabunch · 08/02/2026 16:22

Skinnysaluki · 08/02/2026 15:57

It is a non issue.

You are playing straight into the hands of people who despise women by doing their work for them.

Lining up next to the likes of Trump!

I wouldn’t bother arguing. From what I’ve seen the JK Rowling gang are mostly white affluent middle class women who benefit from the system and status quo almost as much as wealthy white men.

They know full well the trans community is no real life or statistical threat to them. They pretend to care about all the poor women in prisons being at risk from trans people, when really they just want a better reason to vote for right wing parties than the real one - self interest.

When you ask but what about other objectively bigger issues like genocide, wealth inequality and the elites literally abusing the women and children you claim to be so concerned about they just deflect and respond with their favourite line ‘well at least (insert racist abusive politician name) knows what a woman is’

No point arguing. They will support the tories and even Reform and Trump because it suits them.

Indeed. That's the impression I've got from this illuminating thread.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 08/02/2026 16:24

What a total fiction. I’m sure you thought it was clever though @Wheresrebeccabunch. What’s a woman, btw?

HappyFace2025 · 08/02/2026 16:25

'They will support the Tories and Reform' No they won't. That is a ridiculous assumption.

Yep, another genderwang fan just came on to do exactly that.

punnedout · 08/02/2026 16:26

He really outed himself as economically illiterate on The Rest is Politics, it was embarrassing to listen to him. I can’t forgive that and nor can I forgive his hardline TWAW stance. People need to wake up to how dangerous the ‘Green’ Party are. In a heartbeat they would have us crashing the economy (worse than Truss) and no single sex spaces at all. Polanski’s a zealot and if I hear him say ‘nuanced’ again I may lose the plot!

This is such a cop out. Believing that women and girls should have separate, safe spaces doesn’t make somebody right wing. You sound like a child. ‘No you are etc’

It’s because they don’t have any decent argument.

Seems to be a fair point though. It’s true that many carers are immigrants. Those in a lot of similar jobs are too and these are not sought after careers so his comment might actually make people think.
