The one where the men get their jollies showing their cock and balls. There is a petition which is not getting much traction. You may want to sign if you don't want to encourage this.

Do you think it's healthy to normalise children seeing men with erections in public? I think this is a major safeguarding risk.

It's telling children not to be afraid of them.

Umm...

Is this a biological phenomenon that I have missed?

Men get a hard on because they are on a bike?

What ARE you on about?

OriginalSkang · 26/01/2026 14:16

Is there genuinely any evidence to suggest that some men on this ride have erections?

Do you mean the one that also shows women fully nude or the issue is only the men?

Just a question of course and I think the issue should be nudity not because who is erect and who is not

Erections?? Have you ever seen a naked cyclist with an erection 😅

Playingvideogames · 26/01/2026 14:17

No normal grown man would want to be naked if he knew there was a possibility children would see.

It’s for attention seeking weirdos and fetishists.

I could be writing out of turn here, but OP you come across as the type of person who would think that a male working in a childcare environment is a paedophile.

There is a naked bike ride local to me, doesn't bother me in the slightest and good on the participants raising awareness of a good cause

The naked body is natural, you shouldn't be afraid of it.

Doesnt mean we want to see it though. I bet all the "saddle sniffers" will be pleased🤣🥰

Ok, you're just shitposting now. The ride goes through my town, and I can assure, having been in very close quarters with some of the riders, I have never seen an erection in all the years I've been witness to it.

Just be honest and say you don't like looking at naked bodies, but please don't make stuff up.

LVhandbagsatdawn · 26/01/2026 14:19

Lol. "People shouldn't be exposed to naked men, so I'm going to post a link to a picture of naked men".

How odd that you have that link saved OP.

Farageisacupidstunt · 26/01/2026 14:19

OP - I'd like to thank you from the bottom of my heart, really. I've had a very tiring and trying weekend and have been feeling very sorry for myself today. Your post, and the "disastrous teams meeting" one have really brought me right out of my misery. You have both made me laugh out loud and some of the resulting comments are also comedy gold. Thanks all.

InfoSecInTheCity · 26/01/2026 14:19

I’m never going to participate or watch this ride but I’m firmly of the opinion that this is a thoroughly publicised event, everyone knows it’s happening, if you don’t think it’s appropriate for your children to see then keep them away. The onus for protecting our children is on us as parents and this is an easy one to avoid.

Pinkmagic1 · 26/01/2026 14:19

I'm no prude, but I question the intentions of many of the participants. A genuine naturist would not want to offend anyone and I would imagine use a designated area, be that a beach, park, club etc.
I have seen this ride near me, and yes it is 90 percent men!. You can protest about things without getting your knob out in public!.

AffableApple · 26/01/2026 14:20

Are the men using their (erect) penises to steer the bikes? I can see that would be a harmful example set for the children who see them.

rosa17 · 26/01/2026 14:20

The Mary Whitehouse types on here are desperate to show 'sunlight' on whatever bigoted issue they can think of - they certainly are exposing (pun intended) themselves as the sad bigots that they are.

Fairygardenx · 26/01/2026 14:21

Ive never understood any nakedness around people or in public.

Beakthrough · 26/01/2026 14:21

It's a peaceful protest for a cleaner environment, safer roads, healthier lifestyles and better attitudes. I'd have thought that was of great benefit to children.

sweeneytoddsrazor · 26/01/2026 14:22

I have seen it a number of times and never seen anyone with an erection
In actual fact you see very little of the men as they are sat on a saddle. Seen plenty of boobs swinging around though
More likely the female participants give themselves a black eye than kids seeing àn erection

Why do they have to do it naked though?

There's no point organising a protest no one talks about.

So basically, people can do anything to get a bit of publicity and it's OK? Where would you draw the line?

I went on holiday to Denmark once

they all go naked into the sea.

don’t go to Denmark if you don’t want to see it.

They can do anything within the law, yes. And given being naked in public isn't illegal...
