It's not a crime being naked!

Don't go abroad OP. I've been on the beach and noticed British people trying to get changed while wrapped up in a towel and being frantic in case they accidentally flashed a square inch of flesh, while Europeans just strip off, pop their cossie on and lay down like the no big deal it really is.

I don’t see the issue with the naked bike ride. I doubt it’s pretty to look at (or comfortable for the cyclists) but why shouldn’t kids see? My kid sees me and his dad naked and multi strangers in the changing rooms st the health club we use 🤷🏻‍♀️

I can only assume you've never ridden a bike. You sit down on the saddle, it's not as if male cyclists are waving their genitalia around.

As others have said, it is to raise awareness of vulnerable road users - 1633 people were killed on the roads in 2024. I'd be more concerned about that than the potential of seeing a penis, given that you'd have to (a) be on the route, (b) looking directly at their crotch region as they cycle past, and (c) looking sufficiently carefully to see their penis given the folded up nature of cyclists in that area.

Honestly, this says more about you than any cyclists, or men.

The naked bike ride is funny. I don’t want it banned. It’s not all men. And they are definitely not doing it to expose themselves to your children, ffs.

Just avoid the area if you are so upset by it.

God, why on earth the cringeworthy exhibitionism. If they want to be naked in their houses, gardens or naturist clubs then fine but why subject strangers to the spectacle. You aren't telling me they don't get a thrill out of it? What other reason could there be for it!

Oh come on… I’m from Brighton - this has happened every year since I was a child. You’d forget, or not have known it was on, walk out of a shop, and then suddenly the street would be full of naked bike riders 😅 Everyone just thinks it’s funny. I was never traumatised by it or anything - speaking as a child! It’s always as many women as men. Must be so uncomfortable I’ve always thought! And it’s actually quite a long route… I seriously doubt you could maintain an erection for long under those conditions!!
