The one where the men get their jollies showing their cock and balls. There is a petition which is not getting much traction. You may want to sign if you don't want to encourage this.

Oh ignore the cool girls. 🙄

It’s the perverts’ dream to have public naked events like this. It is not wholesome or civilised. I’ve signed.

I've just looked at the organisation's website which has lots of photographs of the event.
Oddly enough the only naked, full frontal ones, are of women. I wonder why that is.

Do you think it's healthy to normalise children seeing men with erections in public? I think this is a major safeguarding risk.

It's telling children not to be afraid of them.

Do they have erections? If they ride fast, you won't see anything unless you are deliberately looking. If the kids stay on the pavement, they'll be safe from being run over.

Alittlefrustrated · 26/01/2026 18:15

Sounds extreme but I can't see how this is allowed but flashing is illegal.
I know it's a planned/expected event, but not everyone will be aware or able avoid it.
Also, you can be fairly confident that some participants are attracted for less than honorable reasons.
I agree it shouldn't be allowed OP.
Suggesting there will be multiple erections waving as they pass is going a bit far though 😅

twinmum2007 · 26/01/2026 18:15

Kindly meant...may I introduce you to the internet. Children can and will see far worse. This is, IMHO, silly, chilly, and uncomfortable, but harmless.

Anyahyacinth · 26/01/2026 18:17

Your first issue was looking at anything on X

Well why do it if not to annoy and shock and no I cba googling to read their excuses.
We don't want naked bodies in public.
Tell you what I bet if we all piled into naturist clubs fully clothed they'd all be up in arms with their strict kit off rules. Seems one rule for them..

Edited

It’s a protest, if people don’t notice, it doesn’t work.

What did they say when you asked them ?

This site? I see plenty of men.

Omg make an appointment asap you are paranoid How many hours have you spent watching this to find an erection ????

i ve watched them go by and never spotted one
you’d need binoculars and patience to see one and I doubt any child who did see one is not going to be harmed

sexual predators make a lot of effort to groom their victims they don’t generally announce themselves by stripping naked and leaping at children with erections

Pedallleur · 26/01/2026 18:21

LadyTangerine · 26/01/2026 17:25

Taboo tends to be something involving clutching pearls and need smelling salts.

No, most of us simply don't want to see naked people in public places. It is attempting to shock and embarrass people. Just do it in private clubs there are plenty available

So that's those foreign beaches off limits then. With those harlots in their thongs and being bare breasted. And men wearing (possibly) budgie smugglers. Children will be terrified and need to stay indoors or stay at home.

No one has an erection on the bike ride, it sounds like kids need to be protected from you randomly sexualising them and random people.

No children shouldn't be scared of naked bodies

Sadcafe · 26/01/2026 18:23

It’s men and women and fairly sure you wouldn’t automatically have an erection , I’d imagine quite the opposite. It’s happened for a number of years, if you don’t like it, keep away, it’s not as if it travels down every street of every part of-the country

BookAndPiano · 26/01/2026 18:23

The website says that Victoria park is off the list because, "based on information from Tower Hamlets Council that there was a possibility of violence in the park."

It's stated under their "news and views" section on the website.

Is this because it's slap in the middle of a Muslim community.

Very sad to see these outdated views been pandered to. It will be a great day when women in Tower Hamlets can feel empowered enough to throw off their burkas and jump on naked and joyfully onto a bike.

I think they should cycle through Victoria Park, not give in to this outdated prudish thinking.

Off with the Burka and On to a Bike. Empower Women Everywhere!

Flashing is intended to cause distress and alarm. Going about your lawful business whilst naked is not, and is perfectly legal.

SAVE ARE KIDS.

StrangerThingsHappenRoundTheTwist · 26/01/2026 18:36

SunnySideDeepDown · 26/01/2026 18:10

Naturism should be reserved for private spaces or spaces that are concealed from those who don’t wish to partake.

It’s confusing for a child. One minute you see loads of people cycling naked in public, next being told you can’t walk around naked in public.

Totally unnecessary and I’m with you OP - shouldn’t be allowed.

Like so many other things children aren't allowed to do but adults are?

Wingingit73 · 26/01/2026 18:38

Not sure shy it's harmful. Nakedness isn't always sexual.

Americano75 · 26/01/2026 18:43

LadyTangerine · 26/01/2026 14:10

God, why on earth the cringeworthy exhibitionism. If they want to be naked in their houses, gardens or naturist clubs then fine but why subject strangers to the spectacle. You aren't telling me they don't get a thrill out of it? What other reason could there be for it!

But they're raising awareness or something so you're not allowed to say anything.

Don't be so daft, this thread is full of people saying something.

"Not allowed to say anything" my arse.

This looks like fun and I am sad about Tower Hamlett. Off with the Burka indeed.

Yeah, you are being unreasonable. Context is all

beeautifullif3 · 26/01/2026 18:53

My hubby says you try getting an election while riding a bike 🤣🤣

Bowies · 26/01/2026 18:54

What?!

Of all the things to twist your pearls over, this really isn’t one.

They are just cycling, there is really not much to see.

Just don’t take your DC to watch if you feel that way, easily avoided.

I say let the cyclist crack on with their event once a year, no pun intended.

CautiousLurker2 · 26/01/2026 18:56

I was in London in the day it took place last year with my autistic, gender dysphoric, trans experimenting teen and she was, frankly, very distressed by the elderly naked men in particular (I know. Make that make sense.) It was totally unnecessary.

BookAndPiano · 26/01/2026 18:59

Why elderly men particularly @CautiousLurker2 -did she think all men should drop dead at 50?

Seriously though, she would be less distressed if it was the norm for everyone from 1 to 100,
