Make me feel better.

I took a photo to upload on an app as needed it for an agency (extra job) . Luckily I noticed the tag at the front as had my jumper on inside out 🤣🙈 It's health care. They'd be signing me up for a carer!

Complained to Deliveroo about only receiving half of a footlong sandwitch and being reimbursed, completely forgetting I'd put the other half in the fridge where DH found it the next morning 😆.

Dropped my book while reading in bed this morning, then bashed my face on the corner of the bedside cabinet when I leaned over to pick it up.

I now have a split lip and a bruise on my chin!

I dropped my daughter off at nursery and hung my gym kit on her peg and arrived at the gym to find tiny leggings, tops, nappies and wipes in my bag yesterday morning…. Both were just in tote bags.

Not mine but my sister did this on Monday and we are still laughing at her!

She had a meeting with a new customer in a coffee shop. All phone contact and never met him face to face before.

She was waiting for him and slightly annoyed he was running late.

A flustered man walked in looking around around so she approached him and asked if he was Tom?

He said yes so she introduced herself and asked him what he was drinking and ordered him a coffee and he sat down.

Little bit of small talk nice Christmas, did the kids enjoy it, traffic being bad etc. All of which he answered.

It was only when she mentioned the purpose of the meeting that he said "you seem very nice and it's lovely chatting but I don't know who are. Have you got me mixed up with someone else?"

The "Tom" she was supposed to me had texted her to reschedule but she never checked her phone as she thought she was talking to him!

He let her waffle on for about 10 minutes!

This is hilarious: I can only imagine the poor man's confusion, but being too polite to ask what was going on... 😁

HA HA HA! Easy done!

Recently, I grabbed a pack of Spar Breaded Chicken Nuggets .... or chonky nibbles as I call them! ... from the fridge, plonked them on a plate, got the microwave going for 3 minutes, into the cupboard for mayo and vinegar, went into the livingroom, the microwave pinged and there was the plate .... next to the microwave!

I reversed my car down a slight hill in the snow, then realised I couldn't drive it back up. I didn't even need to go down it either, I could have just reversed across the top. I thought it would be easier to turn around. I had to leave the damn thing there and get me husband to pick me up. I felt like such a prat.

Needed to take my car for its MOT. Set off walking to the garage (not far for my house) got half way down the road and thought “Shit, I need to be in the car for this!”

Lost my parmesan. I usually keep it in a Tupperware container, in the fridge.
Hadn't needed it for about a week. Noticed this morning that it wasn't there. Considered whether or not I had a poltergeist, a cheese-loving intruder etc. Eventually found it in the freezer 🙃

Went into Boots, picked up a basket but then decided not to buy anything. Left store and walked a good five minutes down the road before realising I was still carrying the boots shopping basket.

Thank you op this thread has made me chuckle. I've been really ill this week with flu I was lying on the sofa and asked dh for a glass of water he handed it to me I had a few sips and tried to put it behind me on the shelf but ended up tipping it over my head 🤣. I hope others will share more of there silliness as its cheering me up!

He's just handed me a cuppa in a travel mug, probably for the best 😅

I whatsapped the psychologist doing my dd's autism assessment, rather than my dd, to remind her about the breathing exercise and sensory toy she can use if she feels anxious during the assessment.

Another one I did lately was going to a garage for fuel ( one i don't usually use) and parked so close to the pump i could barely squeeze out. I had to mention it to the ladies at the counter in case they'd been watching laughing 🤣 It was worse trying to get in. I was half expecting seeing myself on Facebook parking like a twat.

I have essential tremor so I sometimes drop/chuck things, this ALWAYS happens in public of course, so embarrassing myself is a daily occurrence. Thankfully I've learnt to laugh at myself. There was that one time I chucked soup on a customer, which clearly was far from funny, that was the day I made a Dr appointment!

Picked up my phone to text DH to tell him hed left his phone behind 😳

My son has a piano lesson once a week, and the location is changing next month. Despite knowing the exact date the new building opens, I still ended up taking him to the new location 4 weeks early 🤦🏼‍♀️.

He had to miss the lesson, as we couldn’t get to the original location in time. Blaming brain fog for that one. Doh!

Oh these are brilliant - thanks for the thread @LushLemonTart, it's been a difficult week so needed a bit of a laugh.

I don't think I have one of my own to add - although I am going to attempt to cut my own hair tomorrow, so watch this space! Can't be worse than when I bleached my own hair while watching rugby on the telly and it was such a good game I got too engrossed to hear the timer go off and by the time I got into the shower to wash it all off, my fringe came away in my hand! I had to get a grade three because there was just no salvaging it! This was only three years ago, I am 47 next month...

Asked a member of staff in the supermarket for help because my Lidl card wouldn’t scan. He told me we’re in Aldi. 🙈

Realised when got to check out, I didn't have my debit card. I found some cash in my purse, but then automatically went to put the cash on the card machine! 🤣

I picked up a framed photo in my Mum’s house, put my fingers on the frame and moved them apart to try to zoom in on it.
