Yes, we don’t know the full story, but so many things being said about the dance story being untrue-they had already had their dance, she’d also danced with her father, Vb was reportedly called onto the stage by her friend, Marc A and was shy to do so. She comes across as a very awkward, sad person, David seems to dislike her and speak down to her. I can imagine she must be devastated and so humiliated by this. No matter the issues, Brooklyn shouldn’t have issued the problems publicly.
I know a lot about issues with Mil’s but my instinct tells me that this could be her and perhaps she has been difficult from the start. She doesn’t have a reputation for being a nice person at all, even before all this and it’s been said there may have been similar situations in the past with an ex of hers.
In comparison, I’ve never seen anyone say a bad word about Vb, the opposite in fact, she seems to have a great relationship with all her other children and the partners, plus a good relationship with Db’s family
She just must feel so devastated and humiliated, your first born that you held in your arms as a baby.

All so sad

my instinct says this was a Nicola problem

I don't think we are in any doubt which side you are on OP 🙄

@1457bloom The only ridiculous thing about my suggestion is the lack of imagination in the list of possible careers. He can do anything he wants, in the same way as anyone else: start at the bottom and work his way up, which is what his father did.

But his father had talent. 🙂

He could have become a postman if he'd wanted, but he chose to continue in the ridiculous celeb world.

I actually feel bad for Nicole because it's all do easy to blame her and sexist

So easy

Not sure, not a trademark/patent lawyer. Hopefully someone can shed some light on that and what Brooklyn refers to in his statement re signing away rights.

I think the poster above probably has it right and I didnt think of that, the name is her and his business so if someone else comes along and markets make up or clothing or other similar business interests then you need to protect that.

I suppose that is the disadvantage and fragility of using your personal name for the business and not some made up name.

Tesco came out of personal names as did Marks and Spencer, I think Boots did as well

What if a current Mark and a Spencer want to set up a food stall or grocery business, they cant use their own names really, its much the same thing

It makes sense for parents that famous to buy the trademark for their kids names in case anyone else does it first. But they should then let the child have it!

Agree - unregistered anyone could trade mark and sell ‘Brooklyn beckham’ clothes / soccer classes for toddlers etc.

CommonlyKnownAs · 20/01/2026 13:58

Coffeeishot · 20/01/2026 13:55

Do you mean to stop somebody opening a kids clothing brand called Brooklyn Beckham ?

Anything really. Or just buying it and charging some ridiculous sum to give it up.

MauveLibrary · 20/01/2026 13:59

Its incredibly distasteful for Brooklyn to have smeared all of this across social media. Regardless of the truth of the matter and I dont doubt that there is blame on both sides, all that boy has done now is cause hurt and further inflame a situation which is and should remain a private family matter. Has he not thought of the hurt he has now inflicted on his parents and siblings.

RollOnSpring26 · 20/01/2026 13:59

You know that song in wicked, we couldn't be happier, sung through gritted teeth pretending all is well, reminds me of brand beckham and how fake it all is

Brooklyn seems like he just wants to live his life

BillieWiper · 20/01/2026 14:00

Stayinitstoocold · 20/01/2026 13:06

No? When people have met her and been asked, they could say if she was awful, they can’t stop everything

How many people do you know who know her well enough to have a detailed opinion of her personality? They can control a fair amount TBH anyway.

Yes but bb is saying he wanted to ,keep it private but they've been leaking things to the press

chipsewfast · 20/01/2026 14:02

OP you keep banging on about how could he do this to his own mother. Don't you get it that some mothers and fathers just aren't good at it despite all of the privilege that wealth brings.

TheGrimSmile · 20/01/2026 14:02

The whole Rebecca Loos thing was brushed under the carpet and then she was vilified for being a "liar" (she clearly fucking wasn't- and she's likely the tip of the iceberg) The whole marriage is a sham. Id have had a lot more respect if they'd just come clean about it but their behaviour was abhorrent. I just feel sorry for their children.

dotdotdotdash · 20/01/2026 14:04

Sartre · 20/01/2026 12:31

It isn’t even just her though draping herself over the men, David and Harper’s relationship is odd too. He still kisses her on the lips and she’s 14.

I think kissing your kids on the lips is quite normal...yes even teenagers.

xSideshowAuntSallyXx · 20/01/2026 14:04

The only sympathy I have for Vicki B is that she's married to a serial cheat and someone who shows so much contempt for her, that must be hell but then she could walk away but won't because separately neither are really anything special these days and would just slide off to normal celeb world like Tom Cruise.

They spent years curating this perfect family image, fooling so many of their fans, and their son has now just blown that apart.

PatriciaRocks · 20/01/2026 14:04

Stayinitstoocold · 20/01/2026 11:53

I’m sure the majority of celebrities and normal people in fact, sell a fake life in some ways on Sm etc, for your child to do this publicly is vile

No they don't. Compare the Clooneys with the Beckhams. When have we seen the Clooneys promote themselves using their children?
VB is all about Brand Beckham.
No. I don't feel sorry for her. She has chosen this level of self promotion. The children did not.

Dressed in a long satin dress? My 15yo just went to a ball and her and all of her friends and every other 15 year old there wore the same thing. The dress code for a fancy wedding would be similar.

It wasn't just the dress, it was the whole look. Far far too old for her, and so unsuitable.

I feel bad for Rebecca loos too
And how they stired things up for her again when they did that documentary which was DB acting like a victim about all the stories about him

No focus on sorry he made a mistake
Just oh press are being mean to me

MorningActivity · 20/01/2026 14:06

Stayinitstoocold · 20/01/2026 13:44

Yes I think she may be autistic too

And?
what’s that to do with the fact the way this family functions is so crap that one of the dcs decided to break loose?

I mean we all know that, befure an adult child decide to o NC, things must have been bad. Even more so when it’s done under scrutiny by the oressure (and everyone eyes - see this thread and the many others just in MN).

Whatever the issue, it wasn’t handled well. Reducing it to one side and blaming one person migut sound attractive. It’s very unlikely to reflect reality

getsomehelp · 20/01/2026 14:06

What, if any, income does this boy have ?
He won't have a luxury lifestyle for long. then will return to the hold
The Beckhams are fake, there has never been a single photo of V without a pout or a fake pose.
They deserve this

Mhhk · 20/01/2026 14:11

I think Victoria Beckham and Nicola Peltz are probably very similar. They both give off a moody vibe and seem to have a desire for perfection. I think it’s highly likely Brooklyn has married a woman similar to his mother, there isn’t room for these 2 women to both have the world revolve around them, so Brooklyn has chosen his wife.
I don’t feel sorry for Victoria in the slightest.

David seems to dislike her and speak down to her. Bit confused - do you mean David feels this about vb ?

if so that’s not what comes across in an of the documentary and why not divorce if you feel that way about your wife ???

abdolutely no one knows anything

A spectacularly rich wife.

I can’t help feeling that if BB’s photography or chef career had taken off with the help of brand Beckham, we wouldn’t be hearing about this…
