Thumbs up for Streeting

Just read Wes Streeting has got second biggest fall in waiting lists in 15 years and ambulances arriving 15 minutes faster. I think that's an achievement in just over a year in government. Bit sick of all the Labour bashing. Dread to think what NHS would be like under orher parties..Waiting lists 20 years long and ambulances arriving 2 weeks after you call ? A packet if painkillers £20. A trip to the GP £ 100 for ten minutes.

My local health board has been asking people not to attend A&E for the past four days on social media so I don’t think there’s an improvement across the whole country. I’d like to see the official data that backs these claims up as well because a colleague waited 14 hours with her MIL for an ambulance at the end of December and it seems to be a common occurrence in my area.

They’re unpopular with the media…especially daily nazi type red tops…thick stupid people read these rags & are very easily influenced. As for MN users who berate the Labour Party…I just despair!
For context I didn’t vote labour at the last election!

Good evening mrs starmer…

He alone has the power to stop the puberty blocker trial but won’t. That undermines any respect I might have for anything else regarding his control of the NHS

I wonder if you’re near me then - or maybe it’s just widespread?
QEQM Margate have declared a Critical Incident at the hospital this week. They are warning against trying to use emergency services there or even visiting other hospital wards. I genuinely thought something major had happened, like a huge accident or rescue at sea or something.
But no, just the usual winter ailments like Noro and Flu have overwhelmed what they can currently deal with.

Thankfully they’re not planning building thousands of more houses here with no additional GP or hospital provision whatsoever. Oh wait, they are…

Still, at least we’ve got fresh water supplies and adequate sewage provision. Oh wait, we don’t…
