so there’s a huge dump of data from Epstein files but apparently “nothing newsworthy” apart from a pic of bill clinton in a tub and Andy formerly known as Prince lying on girls knees all with faces blocked out… who is holding these people to account? Where is the citizen oversight of this case and the data- who is looking at the data and what is the rationale for the blacked out faces?

YABU this is a court process and it will come good in time, it is normal to have redactions like this

There are also allegations against President Bush Snr. on X, and Jay-Z, Bill Gates and others, but they say they're not verified. I'm trying to avoid it on X because a lot of it so horrific that you can only hope it's not true. But then you wonder if that's why the victims kept quiet or weren't believed, it just seems too unbelievable. But what if it is true? What if a huge percentage of 'the elite' - politicians, celebrities, billionaires etc. are so seriously depraved that a blackmailer can easily coax them into horrific acts, worse than you'd find in a Stephen King novel. And the next day they're standing in front of a camera, smiling with their arms round their wife and children.

I'm disgusted that they've released the names of some of the victims. According to their lawyers they're absolutely devastated. There also seems to be a lot of British men named but not many Americans for some reason - they deserve all they get but it seems to be very one sided.

The DOJ removed some of the files they initially released yesterday but not before screenshots were obtained. It's pretty damning for Trump and a whole load of other people. Some questions need to be answered about why there hasn't been more prosecutions and the person who claimed there were no co-conspirators needs to explain themselves.

Kim Iversen read some of the allegations on her show. She seems like a credible non-partisan journalist. The video is about 20 mins.

The reason the files are now publicly available is because Trump signed off on the Epstein transparency act. If there's so much incriminating evidence about Trump do you not think Biden administration would have made it a priority to Pressure the DOJ to release the files?
If Trump didn't want the files out there they wouldn't be.

I can't speak for everyone but I want everyone guilty, to be held to account.

But - Bill Clinton, Bill Gates etc - are not President of the United States. Do you see how that makes things a bit different? They're not a world leader liable to wreck the world, they're not making decisions that affect people around the world, they did not campaign to be President by using these files as a device to put them in power!

Trump did all that and much much more, and it is looking (from the files I have seen) very much like he wasn't simply participating but organising and in control of much of what happened, as much as Epstein was or maybe more!

@HopSpringsEternal They've been heavily redacted for a number of reasons the most important of which is to protect victims who. Do you really think if something solid was actually known CNN, ABC or NBC would have kept quiet?. It's easy to go down these anti Trump rabbit holes but at some point you have to apply logic and reason not just spout out unproven allegations

Biden didn't make it a priority because there are as many Democrats as Republicans implicated. Release by either side would damage both sides.

I'm starting to think Trump campaigned on it to make the Dems look like they had something to hide whilst he felt confident he would be able to block release or mitigate the damage to him if he was in office and in control. Let's not pretend he didn't try to delay the release or limit how much was released. They have only been released now because "are we still talking about Epstein?" caused a lot of damage to the MAGA movement and his approval rating plummeted.
