To ask why exactly is Holly Willoughby so disliked these days?

No I’m not Holly or a member of her pr team.

I just don’t get why HW is so massively disliked these days. She doesn’t appear to have done anything wrong. But her presenting career has obviously taken a huge knock.

HW wasn’t the one messaging underage boys. We have no evidence to suggest she was aware of it. So why has she basically been banished?

Is this another example of women paying for men’s mistakes?

Im on a group chat and a nasty-ish comment was made about Holly and I just don’t get why.

It was either entirely false, or she is so self-important that she genuinely thought people were going to be deeply upset by a change of presenters on their morning television show. Neither of those puts her in a very good light.

I think people are just fed up with seeing her on so many shows for so many years. Give someone else a turn. I neither particularly liked or disliked her, but it did get a bit tedious seeing her on so many ‘prime time shows’. There are plenty of other presenters out there who could do an equally good (if not better) job. She’s had more than a good innings, made plenty money no doubt, so it would be nice to see some fresh new talent that’s it really.

To me, she's just not very likeable. I guess she's not a down to earth sort of person. I didn't like the speech she did after the Schofield affair which was very fake.

I honestly thought she got all that work because everyone loved seeing her. I thought I was the only one who didn’t want to see her on every single programme. I don’t dislike her either.

I remember it was definitely a thing. This forum went crazy with people needing to know what was going on. It was bizarre. A bit like when Lady Diana died.

Didn’t she push into the queue at the Queen’s funeral. Other than that I don’t know much about her.

It was known he was gay. I was not aware it was known he was seeing someone so young, and that he'd first met that person when they were underage.

She was horrid at a charity event when she mistook my SIL for a member of venue staff rather than one of the organisers. The swivel to super nice was so quick I'm surprised she didn't give herself whiplash.

SIL has said since that on the occasions she's mentioned it (it comes up for future events as SIL refused to have her again) nobody is remotely surprised and most people in the sector have a story about her rudeness.

I don’t think it’s really fair to state that she 100% knew what was going on with PS and his victim. You don't know that. Predators are deceptive.

I don’t know why Holly should get any heat whatsoever for Phil’s crimes!

They all knew. Dr Ranj left This Morning as soon as it all came out because he had posted things on his Twitter account of them all together about the intern, saying how everyone thought he was cute or something along those lines. They absolutely all knew. Phil only came out because his wife found out about his affair with the intern, and then he moved in with Holly. Then she dropped him as soon as the superinjunction wore off because everyone would soon know.

Unfortunately this happened to someone else I know who was there to provide a beauty service. Anyone who makes it to prime time TV unlikely to be lovely this said, it takes a ruthlessness. Some are better at concealing than others.
