Knickers under pyjamas yay or nay

Discussion with friends. Very heated disagreement. Unreasonable wearing knickers . Reasonable not wearing knickers

I hate wearing anything in bed. More comfortable sleeping nude. I wear a nighty if I have to share a room with anyone other than DH but never knickers in bed. 😱

Getting into jammies after work - knickers (I may have to take the dog out, judge all you like) .

Getting into jammies after a bath/going to bed - no knickers.

Men's thermal leggings are also very much more comfortable (and warmer) than women's. I'm 5'5" and on the skinny side, and men's size "small" is perfect. I don't wear them in bed, obviously. Nor do I wear knickers in bed, with or without pyjamas.

Because it's more hygienic?

Either pjs with no knickers if it’s cold, naked if not. My pjs are all very loose so seams aren’t an issue. Change them once a week probably. But I’m definitely gross by MN standards - I don’t change my bedsheets every time I have sex either!

Yes definitely air it out! I've been wearing knickers all day , why would I want to wear them all night as well.

I don’t wear them to bed - which is why I wash after every single use. Even if I have a nap I will put on fresh pj’s.

I was told never to wash my vagene because it’s self cleaning. The outside is not self cleaning - you’re meant to clean it!!

I love my PJ's, have about 25 pairs as I wear a fresh one every day and do not wear knickers too, feels wrong and too hot! I have PJ shorts if I want to wear a nightie in summer too. Hate being in bed naked, what if I need to leave in a hurry?!

None of the no knickers lot have explained the air flow question. Under bedclothes and with jamas on what air flow are you on about?

And it's not as if your average pair of M&S 4 for £10 cotton knickers is going to form a hermetic seal around your arse!

Definitely wear knickers as the PJ bottom seam would go up into uncomfortable places as I move around in bed 😬

Definitely knickers, otherwise your backside would be freezing or at least mine would.

If you wear your pjs without knickers then surely you’d have to change them every day? It’s the same as wearing the same knickers every day otherwise, in fact it worse as knickers are flatter and pjs have stitching.

Knickers or change PJ’s daily.
Anything else is unhygienic
