Discussion with friends. Very heated disagreement. Unreasonable wearing knickers . Reasonable not wearing knickers

OP posts:

No knickers, no pyjamas here. Nightshirts all the way.

AMBOG · 22/11/2025 20:56

You will be shocked to know my very dirty friends don’t wear knickers and only change their pyjamas once a week!!!

Ooh that is a bit grim! Knickers or not!!

pinkpony88 · 22/11/2025 23:56

RubySquid · 22/11/2025 21:09

Neither for me. Hate sleeping in any kind of clothes

Me too! Feels too restrictive

No knickers, no pyjamas here. Nightshirts all the way.

Agree, comfy and not restrictive and no knicker issues

Summerbay23 · 22/11/2025 23:56

Yes to knickers (not sure what option that is). Means I can wear my pjs for a few nights and use a pad if needed,

Twoshoesnewshoes · 22/11/2025 23:57

Long pjs, no knickers here, and I wear the pjs for at least three nights!!
I am a disgusting trollop and I don’t care

Divebar2021 · 22/11/2025 20:50

OMG knickers and PJ’s ? It must be a major sweat fest.

It’s really not, do you massively sweat down there during the day? I only do during exercise so would always shower and change underwear anyway.

BlueWorkDay · 23/11/2025 00:09

sandrapinchedmysandwich · 22/11/2025 20:43

If you want to wear the same pyjamas twice then definitely knickers

I agree.

If you wear your PJs 2 or even 3 nights, you need knickers under them.

Timeforabitofpeace · 23/11/2025 00:11

The answer is to wear a nightdress.

NoSoapJustUseShowerGel · 23/11/2025 00:13

No knickers, needs airing!

LadyLapsang · 23/11/2025 00:14

Team Marilyn Monroe here, although not No. 5.

ItsFridayIminLoveJS · 23/11/2025 00:20

Definitely no knickers and clean pj's every day. Couldn't stand the thought of wearing same pair I've already worn in bed... night before.. .. especially after my daily shower.

BreakingBroken · 23/11/2025 00:33

no knickers, bottoms need "air" the air of baggy loose fit pj's and at least 3 blankets 😜

SoftBalletShoes · 23/11/2025 00:38

Always knickers. Knickers forever!

Bobloblawww · 23/11/2025 00:38

ohwoaw · 22/11/2025 23:27

Just spread it on your pjs instead?

The point is you won’t get an infection to spread around if you look after your bits. Healthy discharge is nothing to be scared of.

An extra layer of fabric does make a difference to airflow. This is fundamentally how insulation works.

FiveShelties · 23/11/2025 00:48

Sunshineismyfavourite · 22/11/2025 21:27

No knickers and no PJs just a vest top for me. Over 50s surely don't wear PJs to bed?!! Way too hot and sweaty. Unless you're perhaps over 65? Hoping the menopause symptoms will have reduced by then!

Don't count on it, I am 69 and still waiting for a reduction.

Naked sleeper here.

JFDIYOLO · 23/11/2025 00:48

Urgh no. Let your vulva get some air! Constantly being covered up, especially in pants AND PJs under the bedclothes, is a great way to create the conditions infections like.

OriginalUsername2 · 23/11/2025 01:02

I never wear underwear at home unless there's company.

neilyoungismyhero · 23/11/2025 01:11

swapsicles · 22/11/2025 20:47

Always knickers, stops the pyjama bottom seam riding up in the night!

Absolutely agree especially wearing shorts.

WhatterySquash · 23/11/2025 01:12

Team knickers. Because I don’t like the feeling of the central seam of the pjs that can end up giving you a wedgie. But I love PJs and don’t like sleeping naked.

Also what is all this about your foof needing to breathe? It doesn’t have lungs! It’s also (unless I’m very unusual) kind of closed unless in use - it’s not a great big tunnel that the fresh air blows up like a chimney. Even if I sleep naked I think it’s still going to be basically warm and damp up there.

(Now wondering if everyone else’s is actually like a chimney)

CherrieTomaties · 23/11/2025 01:17

No knickers.

Unless im on a period and wear a night pad. Can’t do tampons.

mondaytosunday · 23/11/2025 01:41

No but I don’t wear pjs just long t shirt type things.

RiderOfTheBlue · 23/11/2025 01:51

Clean knickers + PJs here. PJs worn twice then washed.

MushroomQueen · 23/11/2025 02:02

Growing up always wore knickers, but here in Portugal during ante-natal classes delivered at the hospital, they said that children esp girls and women shouldnt wear underwear to bed to reduce incidences of thrush etc, which makes sense to me, so yeah I dont wear after that, knickers are tighter to the are and and rub a lot in the night so can increase thrush etc, PJs are usually looser and I dont have issues with riding up, my mums still wears tho its a preference I guess.

Beekman · 23/11/2025 02:10

I wear pyjamas as loungewear with knickers but never in bed. I’m a naked sleeper l and there is no better feeling. Be free, my friends. You won’t regret.
