Amazon delivery driver in pub on duty.

Currently awaiting an Amazon delivery. It’s important as I need it for my business and need it today so products can be made to send out tomorrow. So I’m anxious for it to arrive.
I have been following the tracking of the van. I’m the next delivery and have been for over 35minutes. The van has not moved in that time and is in a car park outside a pub a couple of miles away. The pub is down a lane with no other properties or buildings down there and the tracking is showing it in the car park.

I’m not going to lie I’m pissed off because I need my parcel urgently and I’m waiting for a delivery man to finish his drink in the pub and actually bother to deliver it.
My question is would you report them to Amazon? I have screenshots of the tracking.

Get a grip dear…he’s allowed a break and a piss. Do your own bloody shopping for gifts if a delivery driver having a break upsets you. He may have sandwiches and have parked up there for a soft drink and use the facilities.

He might be having a drink, followed by a long shit, I'm surprised you don't pop along there to find out. Maybe if your stuff was that important you should have ordered it earlier, Amazon delivery is generally anytime up until 9 or 10pm

Maybe eating a packed lunch while sat in the van parked in the car park having stopped there because they have a toilet 🤔.

If it says will be delivered today then as long as at yours by 11.59 thorn he has done nothing wrong imo

sometimes mine will say a time so 6-8

if not there after 8 then you could say it’s late

but he’s prob having a break

hea also self employed so if wanted to have a drink he could but obv not professional

He will have to by law take scheduled breaks due to his taco card and so what if he takes an hour break, I took an hours break from my work today too and it was none of any customers business.

Who are you to decide that?

You have absolutely no idea what’s he’s doing or how reliable the tracking is. If you can see where he is do you not think his boss can? There could be a reason he’s stopped you have no idea about. You ordered next day. It will come. It’s not time specific. Chill out and order in advance next time.

He's allowed a break. In fact he HAS to have a break with a delivery job.

I thought this was someone seeing a driver downing a pint then getting in a works van.

The delivery drivers get paid for each delivery rather than by the hour so he can do as many deliveries as he wants.
Better than the ones who drive like idiots & chuck them over the fence to get in as many as possible.

The driver is allowed a break, even if in the unlikely event ( because they generally hardly have they to catch their breath) he is on a unscheduled break, so what ? Are you going to yell at them when they turn up ?
