Tesco Xmas slots open at 6am 04/11 for delivery savers

When are we all logging in?
I’m ordering food to order from Durham which covers a massive area so slots always go quick.

I have done the Tesco online list so I can just slam the food to order through then plan to do the rest later.

I plan to login at 5amish on laptop.

I seem to recall that last year I logged in early to get a slot, but found that 24hrs later there were still plenty available.

I don't think it's a mad rush now. Certainly hasn't been for the other supermarkets.

We need a weekly delivery as we no longer run a car. We are on the Delivery Saver Plan always book weekly Flexi time slots.

Last year, I logged in around 5:55am, sat in a queue for about 15 minutes and was able to book the slots mostly on the days we wanted. Then I went back to bed.

As we are reliant on a weekly delivery I don't feel I can risk not booking as soon as the priority Christmas slots are released.

5.30 probably. IIRC the queue opens about 30 mins before?

I hate this. I log on early but why they can’t do it like the others, and stagger them, I don’t know.🙄

Luckily for me my DP is an early riser, he's awake by 5 most days so he's primed and ready for tomorrow

There was no queue online for Tesco in our area last year.

I logged on at 6.30 and got straight on to the book a slot page as usual.

We're up at 5.30 anyway, so 6.30 was leisurely for us 🤪

last year I logged on from an airport! I wasn’t the only one on the departure lounge at 5:30am sitting in a Tesco queue!

This is mad.

Morrisons opened their slots a month ago for delivery pass holders and there was no rush at all.

I can’t believe people are waking up to order Christmas food at 5am like whut

My husband says that it shows how much effort I go to at Christmas that I do this madness every year.
i preferred it when the slots were released at midnight but hey ho!
Alarm set for 05:28 but I’m now wondering if I should just go for 05:55 and risk it…..

Morning - just waiting to book my slot now.

I am a first timer (usually actually just go into the shop) so I have a question - if I get a delivery planned for Xmas eve (or eve eve) if I want things like pigs in blankets etc, what are the chances they will get subbed?

I usually book a slot early in the day to avoid subs. They don't deliver xmas eve though.

Why? I am up at 6am every day. Half an hour earlier to secure Christmas delivery is hardly a stretch…
