Tesco Xmas slots open at 6am 04/11 for delivery savers

When are we all logging in?
I’m ordering food to order from Durham which covers a massive area so slots always go quick.

I have done the Tesco online list so I can just slam the food to order through then plan to do the rest later.

I plan to login at 5amish on laptop.

40 minute drop in wait time in 10 minutes. Tesco time units are as erratic as those on my washing machine.

I got in at 6.05.

Booked Christmas slot and chucked in some Buck’s Fizz. Booked NY slot (29th) and added some fancy crisps. Logged out by 6.08 to give the space to someone else in the queue.

will now faff around on MN for an hour and then complain that I’m tired all day!

I was up at 5am anyway (my regular wake up time) so logged on and so by the time they opened at 6am I only had a 4 min wait. Booked both my regular weekly shopping slots for the Sundays. Then I have time to go out at lunchtime at work to get anything that doesn’t come. Didn’t want to risk getting a slot too close to Christmas. You see on here every year on 23rd / Christmas eve people panicking as Tesco have ran out of sprouts / stuffing etc!

app was quicker for me, had the website open on my pc at the same time and it was saying error then switched to a wait time of over an hour (whereas the app was minutes)

I’m all done. Booked 23rd and 29th. Also booked our usual slots between now and then as they’ve opened up those as well.

I hope everyone gets the slot they want. 🤞

All done. Originally said a wait time of 50 minutes when I first logged in but went down rapidly. Got a 10am slot on the 23rd so happy with that

It was only half an hour in the end. Just enough to have a shower at get ready then it was saying <1 minute after refreshing. Got 23rd 💫

I book Christmas slots through Tesco every year and thought the experience this year was particularly poor.

Was online at 5am (normal wake up time), closer to 6 got a blank screen with a spinning wheel, had no choice but to refresh at which point I’m presented with over an hours wait 🙄🙄

Time went down quicker than that but by the time I got in, I could only get a 10am slot on my chosen day which is too late for me - I find that when I get a slot other than first thing, the level of subs is too high (I once had an evening slot and got a full page of subs. Never again!!)

Managed to get a slot the day before my chosen day, but not a great experience this year Tesco - in the world of virtual cloud computing where servers can basically be switched on and off at the touch of a button (yes I know that’s a simplification before anyone has a pop ), I’m really not sure why this is still such a rigmarole every year.

That’s a shame. Ive always found the process efficient, it was really quick for me and all dates and times were available. We never usually have subs at Xmas so I hope it’s the same this year.

I am still not in. Over an hour now and all I keep getting is error on the website - am waiting on the app but doubt there will be any slots left - never had it this bad before.

Record time for me. Started off saying I'd be in the queue for 13 minutes, but I was in before ten past and checked out before 6.15am.
