Tesco Xmas slots open at 6am 04/11 for delivery savers

When are we all logging in?
I’m ordering food to order from Durham which covers a massive area so slots always go quick.

I have done the Tesco online list so I can just slam the food to order through then plan to do the rest later.

I plan to login at 5amish on laptop.

Just booked but the latest slot I could get was Monday morning. Still, I can get the bulk of dry/frozen goods then and just get the perishable ones later!

Got in on the app after 40 mins. But there's no Xmas slots. Only goes up to 24th November. I'm fuming!!

Do you not have a saver plan?

I finally managed to get on an hour later and all of the 22nd was still available so need not have got up so early!

Just sat in a 45 minute queue but didn’t realise I’m the wrong kind of customer. Feel really stupid now!

Last year was great so I assumed they’d ironed out any wrinkles which is probably why I was unpleasantly surprised this year. I will add, our ‘crazy number of subs’ year was before we moved house - the branch that is our local branch now seems much better - but I’ve never wanted to test the theory 🤣🤣

Do you have a delivery pass? It opens earlier for pass holders. Did you get an email to say you have access?

It’s not the Boxing Day sales, where people who are there for hours/days get in first. The queue opens at 6am and everyone logged in should randomly be put in the queue then, not in order of when they logged in.

I was the opposite. I got in within 5 minutes on website but app on iPhone was just a spinning wheel.

I think the website has crashed 🤣 at least on my phone app it has… can’t seem to save my basket. I have a saved slot though.

Just logged on now. Took 3 mins and have reserved 3 slots including one on 24th. Happy days.

I completely missed any mention of this this year. Really grateful for the thread. Booked and sorted.

For anyone that’s interested I didn’t have a saver pass so couldn’t see Christmas slots but bought one today and then could see them and book a slot.

Ive followed someone’s advice on here that it’s best to do a morning one as less likely substitutions, I hope that’s correct?

Because they say slots open at 6am, not you can bagsy first dabs if you log on two days before😂! Having the saver plan gives you priority access, but some people seem to think they should be able to try to gain an additional advantage over others anyway.

Odd because they don't deliver on the 24th.

Is that right? I'd wondered why there wasn't a single slot available on 24th but all other days were fully available.

They probably just don’t in your area. I am the same but loads of places deliver on 24th

That is odd! Wonder how I managed to book a slot.

I’ve just done mine now as I can’t be bothered to get up for 6am, there were loads of slots. The battle for slots doesn’t seem to be a thing any more?

I got Asda and Ocado delivery slots for 22nd and 23rd hours after the slots opened. You may be getting up early for nothing.

Logged in at 6.30 and said 8 min wait. It was actually about 15mins before I got in but got the slots I’d wanted and still had time to get ready for work!

Mine do, up til 4pm.

I always get up early so it wasn’t a big deal. It took me about 20 minutes waiting and then I got the slots I wanted. I just checked now and all times on Christmas Eve available here from 600 to 1600 (London). I don’t want that day but there seem to be plenty of options left.

Logged in at 7.45, no queue and got my 'usual' slot for 22nd, that is the first time in about 10 years I haven't had to queue for Christmas delivery, nice one Tesco!
