In the wake of the tragic events that took place in Manchester, I want to implore people not to lose steam or, more importantly, hope.

Gaza is still facing destruction, famine and genocide.

We need to continue to peacefully pressure our government to take action and sanction the Israeli government and to educate and inform people about the horrors faced by the Palestinian people day in and day out for the last two years.

People who opposed the liberation of Palestine want for this to be a turning point. For people to point the finger at a movement that wants to see the end of the suffering of millions and label it as inciting hate.

It's not.
And it's important.

Please don't put down your passion for Gaza.

That was my feeling, too. I wish such posters would have the courage of their convictions and say what they actually mean.
Of course I could be a deluded nutter but having followed this thread closely, I think I may be one of the least invested more balanced posters.
I disagree with your stance, for example. I don’t believe the marches should have gone ahead (yes, I know that they were planned and certainly not in response to the awful event of yesterday). It would be a gesture, sure, but a gesture that I think would be meaningful and appreciated.
I certainly do t feel the need to be nasty to you because of that.

You seem to be forgetting the millions that turned out every week protesting when we were taken to war on a lie by Blair.

News of mistreatment of members of the Gaza flotilla by Israel have surfaced
and are reported in the news including the Guardian.
This is another reason the protests must continue

In positive news, the flotilla went ahead largely as a result of protesting. Because of the flotilla, fishing was able to commence.

Despite Trump requesting Netanyahu stop all the attacks in Gaza after Hamas agreed to release all hostages and discuss the deal

Why is it that you find it so hard to believe that people are capable of disagreeing with and challenging your views because they independently have looked at events and reached varying conclusions that don’t accord with yours?
