Husbands chastity cage

BeShyPlumLeader · 18/09/2025 21:21

I recently found a metal chastity cage (for a males anatomy) in my husbands cupboard. Obviously a bit of a shock.

For background - marriage isn't good, no sex for over 2 years, separate beds, talk of separating. Stayed together because of the kids tbh. I wouldn't be surprised if he was getting it elsewhere tbh. But a .... cage!? Wtf...

What would u think? I don't want to tell him I've found it (yet)

And yet your biggest immediate worry is that he has a sex toy? Try to picture the responses if he posted a thread about finding his wife's vibrator. He'd be torn to absolute shreds on here. You must be able to see that surely?

Edited

The male analogue to vibrator is fleshlight.

How would OP have reacted to finding a fleshlight?

How would everyone else have reacted to OP finding a fleshlight?

Probably somewhat differently I'd suggest.

The kink shaming on here is sad and somewhat archaic. And if he and the OP don't have a sexual relationship, as I said above, it's not really her business unless it somehow impacts on her life or those of the kids. Why would she not just negotiate a split, why would she want to blackmail him?

She has been trying to negotiate a split but he won't negotiate. Didn't you read the start?

Naanspiration · 20/09/2025 00:16

Look for the knee high socks and wigs. He probably dresses up as a 'sissy' on t'internet.

Why differently though? They are both for sexual gratification..

Go and read the sub thread. The critic was suggesting a vibrator is analogous to the cock cage. It's not. I am saying the critic should have used a better analogue.
(PP have said a cock cage is used to avoid sexual gratification.)

Well its getting sexual gratification from not being able to be sexually gratified. It's a mind thing.

A suitable analog for women would be a chastity belt.

Thank u for your comment but this did make me laugh 🤣. Nope no pets. And it is a very obviously phallic shaped CAGE with a padlock on it. I had to Google it myself but it was clearly penis shaped!!!

Wouldn’t that make itself obvious under his pinstriped suit at work?

They're often used in cuckold relationships...or sub dom relationships.

He's definitely getting it elsewhere.

Some men use them to manage their masturbatory habits. I know one who says he feels calmer wearing it because it just takes sex out of his brain and let's him concentrate wholeheartedly on the other tasks in hand (pun intended)

How realistic that is i don't know

Mollydoggerson · 20/09/2025 16:22

I have not read the thread: I think, He s in fabswingers or another fettish site or goes to clubs, he likes to watch put the cage on and watch people have sex. He gets a kick out of being submissive.

I think OP's husband is COMPLETELY in the wrong for cheating, but I don't agree with all the kink-shaming. Shame the cheating, sure, but there's a bit of an uptight medieval attitude to kink on here!

Urrggh when did kink shaming becoming a thing? when did we have to start respecting and celebrating men wearing nappies and sucking on a dummy or dressing up as dogs and being led around on leads, or wanting to dress up as female children or sticking their cock in a cage and wanting to lick peoples feet? I'm all for kink shaming personally, dirty fucking weirdos.

I don't think she should blackmail him - but that depends on how shitty his behaviour towards her turns. And as he refuses to leave he sounds pretty shitty already.

So which is it that bothers you more - the cheating or the kink? Because you seem to be conflating the two, and what you've said here is pretty insulting to the kink community tbh (which I'm not part of, for the record, but I don't see the need for bigotry.)

Is anyone’s else’s bedroom practice any of your business?

Here’s an idea, if you don’t want to lick feet… don’t.

GiraffesAtThePark · 20/09/2025 18:08

Isn’t that the point? That people should keep such things to themselves and others who are into it.

I have quite a high tolerance for being disgusted and weirded out. I did a lot of experimenting when I was younger. However I don’t like the push for kinks to be more out in the open.

I also think people should be free to express what they think of something. There are people who like telling others about their kinks and it’s not right to impose that on people and silence them by accusing them of shaming someone. It can empower creeps.

If you don’t want to hear people’s opinions of feet licking or whatever then you’re free not to share it.

SleeplessInWherever · 20/09/2025 18:36

@GiraffesAtThePark

Well yes, I don’t believe it’s right to share details of your own preferences with people who don’t want to hear it, or it’s not appropriate for them to hear.

For example - I wouldn’t think it appropriate for my staff to sit in the office and discuss kink, even though the women in there do discuss their sex lives. There’s a line.

But that’s not what happened here. OP posted here for advice having found something specific that she wasn’t previously aware of. Then other people took that opportunity to express how much they don’t like feet, etc, or imply the man is a paedophile.

It was those comments that pushed it into the inappropriate.

OP’s husband should have communicated, shouldn’t be hiding toys in arms reach of children, he’s wrong in many ways. But actually possessing the object isn’t necessarily one of them if that’s what he’s into.

Dirty fucking weirdos 🤣🤣🤣

I don't think we have to respect or celebrate people's kinks, just not be prejudiced against them for it. The people who partake are having fun and not hurting anyone, and their activities usually take place behind closed doors. If it's in private and between consenting adults, what's the harm?

I'm all for a bit of doctor-patient examination myself...🤭 I'm a bad patient and he's a very busy doctor. Sometimes he needs to tie me down to get the intimate exam done...🤭🤭🤭

(With my partner, I hasten to add. I do NOT go to the doctor to get my rocks off!!!)

WearyAuldWumman · 20/09/2025 20:08

When on earth did people start talking about a kink "community"? That sounds like something straight out of Reddit - everything's a "community" these days.

Swingers and BDSM/fetish people rarely combine. The latter tend to be quite snobby.

There are soft types you can get which don't show as much. Getting one that fits and is comfortable can actually take a lot of expensive shopping.

Odd comment. A group of people who are into the same thing can legitimately be described as a community. The vocabulary may be relatively recent, but so what?

(Edited to add: I don't use Reddit, so I wouldn't know.)
