Fucking flags

I know this has probably been done to death on here and there will be lots of threads about it already but I cant be bothered to trawl through the site for them so here I am.

I’m so irritated by the England flags popping up everywhere. There has been an influx put up in my area over the last week, it seems to be increasing by the day. I don’t hate the flag, but I hate the fact it is being used to send a clear message by racists. People aren’t doing it to be patriotic they are doing it to be hateful towards those that they don’t feel ‘belong’ in their country.

I don’t want to see all of these flags in my area. If people are entitled to put them up then why am I not entitled to go and cut the fuckers down? And don’t get me started on the spray painting of public roundabouts and road signage by people who allegedly love their country so much that they are vandalising it at the expense of public money.

If I see one more person give a ‘big well done to whoever has erected the flags on xyz street’ on Facebook I will explode. Does anyone else feel ragey over it?

What I wonder is why the 'English' flag and not the Union flag ? Did the Queen fly the Saint George's cross over Buckingham Palace ?

What’s your definition of ‘actual racism’? Could you give some examples?

For example, if a lad has to ask his mum why people are shouting horrible things at them in the street and the same people are putting flags up, what’s his mum meant to say to explain it?

i think you’ve missed the point of my reply. I don’t need to imagine what might be going on. We all know, including you, what is going on here.

I'll be proud to put them on my house and I reckon some of the neighbours will follow suit.

This response tells me you’ve tuned out, ignored or are pretending to ignore what you have read here.

If people feel uncomfortable they don’t have to live here. If they choose to live here, under our national flag they do so with the understanding that we live in a democracy and we can express ourselves, if we wish. We have our values here and an incredible history that we refuse to see diluted/mauled.

I am absolutely sick to death of the self flagellation of the far left.

The endless bed wetting and the force feeding of their toxic woke agenda. The consistent barrage of labelling, shaming and silencing. Just stop.

The flag is ours. It does not belong to raise the bloody colours or any other trite you attach it to. It is our national flag, it remains so - and when you are not shunning poppy wearers or slagging off veterans that give you your freedom of expression today - you just will not stop. Like a whining mosquito.

Why don’t you start to listen?

Why won’t Labour act on the concerns of over 70% of the population? Why is this even a conversation in 2025? It is because we have a total leadership vacuum. Radio silence from No 10. No direction, no policies and no vision. Whether you love the flags or not. It is simply filling the void.
