ladies..just wondering..are you fed up of men posting on mumsnet..why don't they start their own "dadsnet/mansnet" group..im getting fed up of obvious "male" comments undermining our woman issues....quite honestly id like them to fuck off cos im not interested in their opinons on womanship

I agree OP.
Why would men want to go into female spaces …

TinyTempest · 05/09/2025 17:34

TheWorminLabyrinth · 05/09/2025 17:28

It is entirely justified though. Men hate women. If they could be sexually attracted to each other, and exploit the labour of each other, then they wouldn't form relationships with women. Lucky they have you defending them though Hmm

(Absolutely no need for the NAMALT/Not My Nigel brigade to tell me how wrong I am).

It must be awful to be so eaten up with hatred for nearly half the world's population.

Do you also wrap yourself in an England flag and stand outside hotels?

Or is your bigotry reserved only for men?

Making and caring for are quite different things.

No idea but what does that have to do with this thread considering MN is not a female space and never has been?

Then It shouldn't be called mumsnet.

vodkaredbullgirl · 05/09/2025 17:36

My eyes are hurting with all the eye rolling I'm doing 🙄

FollowSpot · 05/09/2025 17:36

Haha til the next person puts out a call for PigletJohn , or has a complicated legal question re schools admissions and the shout goes up for prh47bridge .

Men as parents: v welcome by me.

Also helpful when men give a male perspective in support of a woman with suspicions or evidence.

Nine of us got to be parents without men.

The presence of men here doesn’t compromise our experience as mothers.

What male comments undermining women have you seen?

What male comments undermining women have you seen?

What about the guy 2 or 3 weeks ago who went onto a thread about VAWG and how op was scared of running alone, and absolutely derailed it by saying he also suffered violence so it wasn't just a women's issue, and then all his defenders jumped in so op never got to discuss her issue?

what exactly made you believe this forum had anything to do with "women" specifically?

Dontlletmedownbruce · 05/09/2025 17:39

Men hate women.

Is that so @TheWorminLabyrinth ?? All of them? Are you sure they just don't hate you??

Idontjetwashthefucker · 05/09/2025 17:39

I'm not a man, neither am I a parent...am I allowed here?

Dontlletmedownbruce · 05/09/2025 17:42

I agree @TinyTempest I always presume posters like that are racist too.

BluePearOntheRocks · 05/09/2025 17:43

Rickyrainfrogcroaks · 05/09/2025 17:03

I don't see why men are on here ,I don't want their opinion,I'm sick of men ,
This should be a women only space

why?

On which ground should this forum be a "women only space"? It never has been and never will.

Why not creating your own female only space if you need one?

Peakypolly · 05/09/2025 17:44

Why would men want to go into female spaces … I, for one, am pleased to say I haven't found parenting to be a female only space.
I welcome *Idontjetwashthefucker *
also, although non-parents are not referred to in the initial aims of Mumsnet (Parentsnet) as I remember it.

Daughterofthesea · 05/09/2025 17:44

YANBU and it annoys me too.
We have a women’s network at work and there are several blokes who have joined that - to me it just feels invasive of them to do so.

We discuss deeply personal issues around feminine health, menopause, domestic abuse etc… and having men in that space just makes me not want to share my true experiences.

Men hate women, do they now? Half the population HATES the other half?

Some women hate men, that's clear on this thread and sometimes on this forum, hating someone just because they have a penis, how bizarre. 😂

Yes they're invariably racist IME but spouting their hatred of other races/religions would get them banned.

So they have to stick to sexist bigotry whilst posting here.

on an anonymous forum especially, none of these issues are "female" only - different when it's work colleagues, for privacy reason.

feminine health, menopause,
My GP and my gynecologist are male, so I bloody hope they know what they're talking about!

domestic abuse
is not a female-only issue, and supportive staff dealing with these issues are not female-only either

Why wouldn't men be on this forum? Makes no sense.

roseclouds · 05/09/2025 17:49

I dont care that they're here in general but they need to STFU when it comes to women discussing issues they're experiencing that are pertinent to being female.

I've literally had a man come on here and deny my experiences of men being creepy and lecherous. Firstly, WTF? he wasnt there, I was, and secondly- how dare he tell women what they have or havent experienced.

I have seen men do this a few times to others - try to shut women down and deny the experiences they've had with men and it repulses me. I think any man that does this should be removed from the site.

Surely any poster who does this should be removed from the site?

I had women on here telling me I was lying because I haven't experienced sexual abuse and sexual harassment, or witnessed that all men HATE me, or that I must be a man 🙄

Trolls trying to shut people down because they have different experience is not gender related frankly.

I don't get the impression that the most bitter and violent posters on these subjects are male, I might be wrong 😂

What on earth is "womanship"?

It’s like a mothership. Child-free women had to build it because mums kept complaining they shouldn’t be allowed aboard the MOTHERship.
