Just that, they seem so deliriously in love in every picture I've seen of them.

More power to them if they are that happy, they've both hit the jackpot in so many ways.

But.. to still look so enthralled with each other after so many years??

Who knows. BUT the photos are all at events, they put on a public show. Photos of most couples at events, where they’re in public, maybe having a drink or two, show them happy, smiling and looking at each other with pride and affection. They’re likely wanting to throttle each other behind closed doors where he breathes too loudly and constantly his throat, and she always leaves a puddle on the counter after she’s made a cup of tea.

Why on earth would Amal, an absurdly successful human rights lawyer who has continued in this career and not attempted any kind of showbiz pivot, agree to be a beard? What possible benefit would she get from that?! She doesn’t need him!

I think he gets all the benefits in this relationship (and I’m sure he would agree!) in terms of social clout etc.

What is with this phenomenon where people are convinced that very famous people cannot be in real relationships? All these comments claiming George must be gay echo the ones on the Taylor Swift thread yesterday saying her relationship is a cover too? It's so strange that people think like this.

I had read years ago that George has his eyes on politics and Amal was a good spouse to have for that for credibility. I think if he was interested in running for anything, he'd have at least ran for the Senate or something by now.
