Just that, they seem so deliriously in love in every picture I've seen of them.

More power to them if they are that happy, they've both hit the jackpot in so many ways.

But.. to still look so enthralled with each other after so many years??

Amal has it all going on; incredibly successful career, (a proper job not Hollywood), handsome film star husband and she is gorgeous looking, those legs and hair!

I hope so! Of course, most couples put on a good face in front of the cameras and they probably have the usual domestic couples niggles that we all have. But I've been married 35 years and would say I'm still very happy and in love. It's not that unusual is it?

he can’t exactly come out and say he is gay when he’s playing the ladies leading man

I can’t help admiring them. I was the right age to have a massive crush on him in ER (tbh I preferred Dr Greene but he is still exceptionally easy on the eye) and have intermittently read various highly angled interviews with him (confirmed bachelor, probably gay, never going to marry, oh he’s marrying a really interesting woman who’s also gorgeous). I have now got the clear impression that he does what the fuck he actually wants to do. More power to them both.

What is it with people who are so sad in their lives, they think that's the only way EVERY other person must be going through life.

Im not saying one way but youd be pretty dense to not know that some film stars are in the closet as the ones out as gay don't make the same bucks at the box office, and therefore stay in the closet and have fake girlfriends.

I agree. I've no idea and couldn't care less if he (or she) was gay or not. But is it really that easy to be gay as a lead actor in Hollywood?

He's not gay. Those rumours have plagued him for years and he's said if he was gay, he'd be out and proud. It's also hugely disrespectful to Amal to claim she's been bought – the woman is a human rights lawyer who's spent her career advocating for trafficked people!

He was waiting for the right woman to settle down with, an intellectual equal he was never going to find in Hollywood. Plus, his mum has the same look as her (minus long hair)! There is a saying that men end up marrying their mothers...

I don't think he is gay at all, I do think he was putting feelers out for an " appropriate " wife to have children with and one that leveled him up in a more serious context.
Amal is gorgeous but as a high performing woman with an illustrious career her choices of decent men that she was attracted to and that could treat her they way she should were probably small.
They seem to be a perfect match in that they meet each other's requirements and now have a lovely little family, I'm sure love has grown with time even if it was more of an arrangement in the beginning.
