On holiday and I don’t know if I’m unreasonable!

I’m really hoping for some perspective here. We are currently in Spain with my friends for a holiday. It’s us ( myself, DH and DC 14,16 ) and my friends ( Kate, Neil, DC 14,17) obviously names are changed. Kate was my friend for a few years through the activities. They invited us for a holiday with them. We booked two different villas about 5min walk from each other and right on the beach. Since we got here, Kate and my DH are spending more and more time together. This is our full third day here, and so far today, they met running at 7am and booked a spontaneous paddle boarding for themselves at 10am. We were all on the beach later and went for a lunch. I went back to the villa to get some plasters and they both turned up. My DH said he is changing his top as he and Kate will walk to the town to get a few bits. All of the DC are spending their time on the beach learning windsurfing with the local club so I don’t need DH to help with childcare. Kate’s husband Neil has a work project to do so he spends about 5 hours a day working in their villa. I’m starting to feel like a 3rd wheel to my friend and my DH. I’m getting grumpy when I’m around them and I don’t want to push him away but I don’t know how to get out of this mood. And another thing which got me thinking is at the dinner, Kate asked for a sparkling water and my DH said he wants some too. He never drank fucking sparkling water but when I pulled him on it, he said it’s because I only drink a still water so he did too. So for years you were drinking still water because of me? Have a sparkling water if you want! Something is feeling odd and I can’t put my finger on it

Oh blimey, really? I thought I was asking her a direct question to be truthful. Many other posters were beginning to suggest the same thing after the pooh incident and the OP has not come back.
How ridiculous to allow someone to possibly hoodwink us especially the posters that gave their experiences in a heartfelt way and have really invested in this thread.

It seemed like a quite detailed and believable set up and then there was one fleeting post about shitting the bed. I would have thought there would have been more about that incident if it was a poo troll, or is that how they work?

I think there must have been a show down or she’s caught them ‘at it’. To spin all this shite ending with shite is just too ridiculous. What a colossal waste of time. Waste being the operative word I guess.

I heard a rumour that OP actually ended up on the boat with Neil! Kate got sick, DH had to look after the kids, not sure what happened on the boat though....

On the back of that rumour @MyLimeGuide , I heard that all Neil talked about the whole time was how wonderful and beautiful and delightful his DW is and he couldn't wait to return to shore...so, no joy for poor, rejected Kate

But Kate is Neil's wife? She has 2 men a after her what a hussie!!

The OP missed out on the boat trip sadly but the next evening the two families went out for dinner. Unfortunately Neil had been called back home early on urgent business. Kate was being her usual annoying and flirty self and was wearing a very short, white dress. She was knocking back the cocktails like no tomorrow.

Just as the dinner plates were being cleared away, Kate got up and started dancing to the restaurant music, giggling like a school girl. Then there was the loudest, strangest gurgling sound. Everyone went quiet. Kate stopped dead in her tracks and squeezed her thighs together, panic now showing on her face. There was a stench smellier than the foulest foul thing. Kate began to projectile vomit.

“Oh dear Kate,” said the OP. “Looks like I might have given you my stomach bug. You can keep the other shit too.” She said, pointing at her husband. The OP flounced off.
