I thought you were going to complain about little girls merrily singing a song which is seems to be about being a stripper (this happened at our school disco). Song's based on a strip club. Not ideal song for 10/11yos but they seem to think it's about actual pink ponies!

That's not really what it's about at all. It's about her move to California from the arsehole of nowhere and finding a gay bar where people can perform and be themselves. She says it is the first place she felt she could be herself and saw loads of other queer people in a safe space.

It's based on a real club called The Abbey. It's not at all about stripping but i see how people can infer that.
